  2. I have read that the DCS109 and Dora are being flown at Duxford Airshow...and under EDGE engine, really would have thought that kind of news should have been posted by ED here to get a bit of positive PR back, can this be confirmed please Cheers Dakpilot
  3. No change with latest update, still unplayable with MSFFB2 and mouse lag in view look around, Any info from devs/mods if this issue will be looked at or has support for MSFFB2 been dropped, also interested to see how widespread a problem this is with other FFB sticks G940 anyone? Thanks for any input, with DCS1944 alpha coming in Feb it will be a shame if have to use a different joystick to play, it took me two years to finally find MSFFB2 in my part of the world, and am very happy with it in other sims. Cheers Dakpilot
  4. This was said by Luthier "Finally, we have huge plans for the game’s multiplayer component. They are outside the listed kickstarter goals because they are a bit too ambitious to fit into the kickstarter timeframe, and because they also stretch to other products in the DCS line. We feel that multiplayer is a huge part of any flight sim’s success, and with Oleg Maddox and some of his former teammates, we have an incredible team that can both design a great comprehensive approach to multiplayer on paper, and implement it into robust, exciting gameplay. Ultimately, we are building a robust multiplayer module that covers all aspects of the spectrum from gratuitous free-for-all to rigid historically realistic cooperative, both centrally- and community-run, with persistent online record-keeping and many other features that keep the online war current and exciting for years to come." Are there any comments from ED on how this will be implemented and what plans are ahead, or should this be considered as a "hopeful" wish for the far future A robust multiplayer enviroment would seem an important element for the future, beyond what is available at present in DCS world Cheers Dakpilot
  5. Also same problem, MSFFB2 , using mouse/trackball to look around, very jerky, sometimes 1-2 sec lags. when using HAT view is smooth no lags. Other than using a diff Jstick are there any solutions? or should wait for next patch, unfortunately is pretty unplayable when looking around for me i5 3570k@4.5ghz H100i//P8Z77-I-DELUXE//16GB 1600mhz ram//MSI GTX770 2GB OC//sandisk 256GB SSD//40" SHARP Quattron@1920X1080//MSFFB2// Cheers Dakpilot
  6. I have seen no demands for updates in any threads anywhere, if anything the general tone has been a consensus of not needing such regular updates. The usual crap has been about failed promises and concern over feedback that was inferred and not provided, nothing to to with updates per se. A chance to alleviate any misplaced concerns was missed, which ever way you look at it. Now is time to move forward, and without the rose tinted glasses. Having a full time community manager is a great idea, and some would say essential on a project of this size and scope Feb for alpha access now seems a very short wait :) Cheers Dakpilot
  7. "The point of this topic is: What is your experience with current DCS World multiplayer? Is it stable? How many players does it support? ? Are there issues? What are they? What do you think could be done to address these issues? Will DCS WWII attempt to address current issues or is the ball strictly in Eagle Dynamic's camp (who currently develop the new engine)?" Am interested in this part, not yet read/found any confirmation about this, is there any more info? thanks. Cheers Dakpilot
  8. Flyable B-17 something that would interest SO many, maps will come, and with SDK released maps can come from community. A B-17 to DCS standards cannot Cheers Dakpilot
  9. If I already own the DCS P-51 and buy the FW190 when available, what difference is there between pledging $1 and $40 other than furthering the cause of WWII sims Cheers Dakpilot
