I have pre purchased the Mig 21, try to update and it says, cant move G:\Eagle Dynamics\DCSWorld\Mods/aircraft/Su-25T/Missions/EN/Training/Combat Employment/image.png: (2) The system cannot find the file specified. Yesterday I downloaded the training files in the training section, dont know if that has something to do with it. Anyone have any idea whats going on? I seem to have lucked out, all is ok. I downloaded the Mig 21 install file from the DCS modules section and installed it that way, could try and temporally change the file name of the "Training" file in the path up above ( I changed mine "Training-orig"),update the game, then if successful, change the file back to its original name, i believe thats worked for some. in the bottom R H corner in the main menu screen it says 1.2.10.32095 not sure about the .521 at the end. tried all the modules and they all work,

The button on LHS middle on stick(counter measure button) and the button and switch on the throttle? In the docs it says to hold down TAB when in the process of lining up on a target, what button is that on the controls? or do i have to send a message in the chat window that im locking up a target?:megalol: There are labels for everything else but.

Is there a manual that goes with the Sabre to get info from? If not that's rather piss poor.

Is there somewhere that has the information on what the buttons and switches are called to more easily set up the controls? Trying to setup controls of the Sabre, on the joystick, what are there function names of them so I can correctly assign them to my W Hog. Is there a diagram of the controls with name labels? :joystick: Diagrams of the stick and throttle with labels and a list of must have controls to map would make things a lot easier. As when you start off in a new aircraft you have to setup all this, something to use as a guide would make it a lot easier. I know someone will pipe up and say that people map out there own, but what im looking for is what the controls are then make my choice if i dont have a button or a switch in that place I can then make my own compromise .

OK, i have got all the modules back, used the module manager and installed them again. Now dose anyone know were the files are kept for the downloaded training files so I can copy them over instead of re downloading them again? my original install is a bit of a mess with files everywhere from not knowing where to put them.

My DCS spat it when I updated it to 1.2.9. so ive changed the folder name to Eagle Dynamics-original , then installed a new 1.2.9 version. now is there a chance i can copy the files from my original to my new install ? I have all the modules except the Dora and sabre.(havnt bought them yet) If i can do this can someone tell me what folders and files I have to copy over for my modules and also my joystick control settings? I have the discs for black shark and A-10c warthog. the mustang was there in the module manager so thats done. so its just the huey,Mi 8, FC3 and combined arms to go. I purchased all those modules from this site and not steam. Any help would be great, Cheers.

I auto updated mine to 1.2.9 and it killed it. it deleted all the .exe files so now it wont start. haven't reinstalled it yet as waiting for a new hard drive to arrive.

I updated from 1.2.8 to 1.2.9 and now the launcher.exe file is no longer there. have tried to download a fresh install of 1.2.9 but that wont even begin to start downloading. Whats going on? anyone Know?:doh:

Yesterday, auto updated DCS and now its a no go. I get an error message that says( Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\bin/Launcher.exe: The system cannot find the file specified.) Ive looked in there and yep its gone. the updater exe is there but nothing else, and the updater.exe dosnt work ether. Do i need to do a full reinstall? if so how do i go about that? how do I deactivate my modules before I do it? Is there a link here for a guide to do that? can never find what im looking for:doh:

With the latest patch and the old profiles not working anymore, would it be possible to have a new place for any updated Warthog profiles put into this thread or somewhere separate from the old profiles? Cheers.:pilotfly: And maybe separate threads for other controllers to minimize any confusion and ease of finding your desired profiles.

Ok, thanks for that, hopefully somone can make some updated ones, or maybe even remove the old profiles if they dont work. pitty as a lot of work has been put into some of those profiles. Cheers. Dont know where i can get some that do work? have no idea how to do it myself.

I have a TM warthog , cougar MFD's, trackir, siateck rudder peddles and i cant get any of the download profiles to work. Ive tried a couple different ones and none work. if i start up DCS and try load them into there set controls(mfd 1, mfd 2, ect) nothing shows up in the key bindings, also for selecting the profiles i have to change the file types from diff.lua files to all files for them to even show up so i can select them. Am i missing somthing, are the files i downloaded faulty, have i placed them in the correct place, the details on were to place these files mostly seems rather vague. any tips on getting any profiles working would be great. the A-10 is ok, want to get up and running with the KA 50 Black shark. Gday, im no expert but ive found that locking targets on the tv screen like buildings you have to change the target size box to 60 ( the bigger the target the bigger the target box needs to be or it wont lock), i am using a G19 key board and have found that some keys dont work as they should like [,],=,-,~. i had to remap those keys to get some things to work. in game check in your control settings and see what keys change the target box size, press those keys(shift and + - i think) and see if it lights up, if not you may have to remap those keys.
