What game is that from? If it's lomac, how did you get the pilot view and light scattered clouds like that?

Are there any plugins available that allow you to import exisiting lock on models into Max 7? I'm curious to see how the ED team modelled some of their aircraft. It would also be nice to edit some of them.

Hmm... I can see how that would work for trees and structures, but even settings such as lights have clipping. Does that mean that lights wouldn't show at a certain range? -

I'm wondering what clipping means in the advanced graphics congifuration of modman. Also, does anyone have a detailed list of what each slider does...the modman descriptions are a little vague. Thanks

Cool video. I have some questions though. Do you record your footage during a track replay? If so, how do you move the camera around externally?

I've actually visited that Museum before - a couple of times actually. The Toronto Aerospace Museum will also be rolling out a full scale replica of the Arrow this October. That would be pretty cool to see.

Hi guys, I was wondering if someone here would be able to help me out. I've created some 2048x2048 skins off an A-10 template and saved them as a .bmp file. I'm now wondering what the next step is. I know that I have to convert it either to a .dds or somehow compact it in the .cdds file. I heard that compressing the textures in the .cdds file gives lock-on better frame rates (as opposed to just creating an entry in the bazartemp folder). Also, can .cdds files take 2048x2048 files?

I may be new to these forums, but I know tripe when I see it. Saying the Avro Arrow was ahead of it's time is not buying into 'propaganda'. It was the first interceptor of it's kind that used innovative designs in almost all corners of the aircraft. In fact, the lead engineers left to join the boys over at NASA only to later design the lunar landing module. I'm sorry the BBC movie didn't paint a good picture, but rating the Arrow based off a made for T.V movie is like ranking the Tomcat after watching TopGun. It was a great aircraft...it's really too bad it never had a chance to prove itself in combat.

Hi, I have an old suncom sfs throttle and recently bought a usb to gameport adapter so I can use it on my new PC. However, I can't get it to work properly. When I jack in the USB, it automatically appears as 'gameport' under the windows game controller box. I can't configure any of the axises and none of the buttons work. Anyone had any luck getting this to work?

That's what I thought. How do you make cdds though? I have the cdds tools, but I don't know how to compile several dds files. -

With the soon to be released Black Shark and support for 6 DOF, what does the future hold for modding custom 3D cockpits? Having the ability to model a true 3D A-10 cockpit with 6 DOF support would be amazing... I've been poking around several Lock-On forums and it seems tha the current lomac mod community is...limited. I keep on getting told that the cockpits are 'hard coded' into the game and is very difficult to make new ones. Any plans to change that?

Hello, I read in the 1.12 sticky that the new patch had roll back options to play older track files. How does one 'roll back' the game temporarily to do this? Thanks
