Operation "Blue Flag" - 24/7 PvP Campaign - ROUND 2

Day:4 war update. Day:4 Things are heating up, tensions are rising, its to the firewall for everyone! Both sides are engaged in a bloody race with bone crunching dogfights and eyeball twitching nerve wrecking strike missions. While BLUFOR is mainly managing the theater up at least to this point, REDFOR seems to gather enough juice to make a comeback. Day four is about to peak, strap in and get ready and fight! On a personal note, yesterday I had a new visceral experience in DCS. I was preflighting my A-10 at night in Maykop when I was hearing enemy planes overhead so I immediately panicked and killed my lights to stay unnoticed... maybe... It was fun. -

Day:3 war update. Day:3 The second round started last Friday night and the rush to join and fight was madness! The clashes went on throughout the weekend with REDFOR managing to hold most of the assets for two days straight. However BLUFOR made a dash grabbing east front on Sunday night. REDFOR is slowly in the process of gaining territory inching forward bit by bit, but can they keep up when BLUFOR amasses their numbers? -

Blue flag app upgrade imminent. It is already in for the next version due tomorrow. Also, tooltips will include grids and and UTM coordinates, new "heath bars" for bases under repair, closed or open status for each asset and mission time elapsed. As you may have noticed, sometime today old desktop apps (v1.03) stopped functioning due to changes in the server scripts. There is nothing wrong on your part, it is all our fault :music_whistling: Tomorrow you will be greeted with a popup to upgrade. Thanks.

trollface on: Because there can never be too many Crashes! You are obviously suspended during red side deliberations and meetings pointing at teddy-bears and deciding on which place they were touched the most! troll face off: Naturally...

They seem blue on the map. They are also on a "repair" state. I think we spotted something similar earlier today. We will investigate. Thanks.

Game face on: REDFORCE during peak day 5, managed to creep into blue turf by crawling inch by inch with huge losses, broken hearts and rising psychotherapy bills. All that to the west front, on the east front except for a small foothold on a teeny tiny FARP, BLUFORCE staved off any attack to their home bases at Tbilisi. East front red squads threw everything they got, but to no avail! They were thrown against the mountains and the screaming was... well those bills again... Later during day 6 small hours, BLUFORCE unleashed the best of them and stole everything back and more! Red squads are homeless and desperate, mass evacuation of women and children ensued, suffering and tears endured by sympathetic ears. LATEST UPDATE: It seems REDFORCE needs to step up! Game face off: nnnnnNNNNNNOOOOooooooooo...

MSVCR100.dll is missing! The MSVCR100.DLL file is part of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 redistributable package. However, the copyright on this file is owned by Microsoft, so it is illegal for me to bundle the file in my application. Since your Win10 is kinda new, I assume you have not installed it or, it hasn't been installed by some other means without you noticing. That's why most people don't get this error. Relevant thread on microsoft: http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_other-performance/msvcp100dll-missing/9a687c31-0619-4ee9-b511-020985e29b5f?auth=1 32 bit download: http://www.microsoft.com/en-in/download/details.aspx?id=5555 64 bit download: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=14632 Let me know if it works out. Thanks!

The third day found both sides in teeth grinding wanton destruction, pulling the tide of battle in excruciating small bits of turf when the sky filled with burning wreckage. REDFORCE managed to stay on top for the first half of the day, but BLUFORCE hit back when REDFORCE went to their beds and were caught with their pants down! The shame!

The server will stay down for a couple of hours for maintenance. Thank you.

Day 3: Yesterday BLUFORCE demonstrated exceptional superiority and perseverance by grabbing Sochi, Vladikavkaz and Beslan, home of the NOB squadron. REDFORCE barely managed to take Kutaisi/Nalchik FARP, while troops were ambushed trying to get into Beslan/Tbilisi FARP. BLUFORCE has been reinforced with new squadrons and looking angry. The third day of the war is expected to reach new levels of mayhem. Get ready and strap in!
