Tks zeke but after un plugging and clearing firmware and reloading it and so on and so on it worked...For some odd reason i saw it listed as working ok in the pc and it showed as there and so on...I just took a brush to the usb on the stick and changed around a few usb ports and BAM!!... STRESS GONE...What a friggin time to not be able to walk away for a few min with a cold beer...Back on the road(18 wheeler) in the morn.. Now comes the hard stuff,programming each button...Unless someone knows someone with a cougar/a-10 file i could just save in pc and load up... Oh and yes tks for the site but i already found it and it helped me big time....Im just a lil new born puppy in the woods with most of this..Nothin like it was 5-10 yrs ago...

I did yrs ago...Basic ones though..I get the feelin your being sarcastic...If so please save it... If you have a comment regarding my programming this joystick feel free to help,if not pleae be a smart ass elsewhere..

windows 7...brand new cougar and its actually about 6-7 yrs old....I never used it more than 5 minutes cause it pissed me the heck off tryin to get it to work.... I dont understand the lingo mostly used re pc lingo so i get frustrated all to hell and wanna biff this thing out the window.... Is there files and a simple click click click way for this to atleast get started,im not pc savy and im about to crush it under the tracks of a bull dozer or its gonna work... Im just not overly patient with this,tried 6-7 yrs ago and met with same issues..Thats why its 6-7 yrs old but new...Seems to me that the cougar site is all over the place with getting this to work...So mant files online that seem to chage which files to load and do this but not that,hook it up and unhook it... Im loosin my damn mind and gonna trash it if it dont work soon..:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: and it keeps telling me i got a 203 or 302 dll missing..dont remember which. help

K heres the scoop.. My pc has been rebuilt so i have speed,power and memory and tons of storage BUT im not at all puter savy.. Heres my set up.. I5 4670 3.4 ghz.. 8 gigs of ram{some uber high speed stuff my it tech{roomie picked out} windows 7 geforce gtx 770 4 gig Problem.... I went through the set up stuff and my 3 samsung 226 bw seem to now be one full screen on the net...I load up dsc and its either one monitor that works or one monitor that has 3 screens in one..My mouse goes from left to right as its supposed to...I can drag a screen across all three monitors..I did have it so the cock pit was in all three monitors but it was as if i was zoomed all the ways in.. Yes i saw the lau file thread but for a non pc savy person 16 pages of stuff looks like fbnjdiwlthnjsdkoVHJRFIDWBHJFDGWIL TO ME.. Its been weeks now sence i have fumbled around the net tryin to get this figured out..Not a lick of luck...

Hey folks.. Craig from canada here and im so new that almost need to be wearing a diaper.. Did some early flight sim stuff on my ole trusted c-64 and eventually moved up to a pc style sim.. I have a few older sims like lock on,a few ww2 style sims and mind you most of what i have are basic...The most detailed sims i have is the lock on and falcon 4.0 and the 4.0 allied force...Those babys have a ton of dust.. Other than downloading dcs,what else do i need or should have..Things as runway charts,common terms used in radio chatter,emergency procedures ect.. My pc is now up to date with lotsa speed,memory and power(dont ask me the specs cause i dont know off hand) This site has me hooked and my biggest probs are... 1..Where to start 2..Learning materials/manuals/training ect 3..Getting my hotas cougar set up(new sence 2006 but never used).. Im trying to score two more monitors the same as the one i have now but im not home for a few days to get started..Life of a trucker eh.. PM me or email me or something with a list from one of you guys that have been around to show me the ropes and direction of this killer site.. 3..M

I have a new hotas cougar...Tried to figure it out but lost my freakin mind and patients with it...I bought it in 06,and never used it....My buddy rebuild my pc with some awsome stuff so its time to wipe off the cob webs... Any cougar help would be only to sweet..Im basically starting off from scratch again..
