Im gonna say somethin silly..Try different things so ya dont get hit and if you do land it so its basically in a parked spot rather than slideing down the runway..

Love to have this baby..Its competition for the eras phantom(f4) and the limited use of the f104 Vietnam era which is my fav..So i would love to have this to chase down something and see how the other half lived..

rudders Back in ww2 some of the jap pilots(pacific fight)used to try and drag the wild cat into the vertical and maken stall so when they did the jap pilot would hit the "RUDDER" then be on the 6 of the wildcat for a kill.. Didnt work when the hellcats came online.. During vietnam,same thing with the migs but the phantom has more thrust so it didnt always work as well but rudders definately have their uses..

Hey simo..I have no info on the other pedals so i was just being general as to saying 2nd rate or less quality..I more or less was makeing a point... This time of yr its hard to justify any amount of $$ being spent but as long as your happy with your choice its all that matter...Enjoy and be sure to post a review on your new peddles..:beer::beer:

SIMO1000rr..Dont buy second rate peddles....Hang tight and save for the crosswinds..Try no coffees or smokes or pizzas for a time.. Im guessing you have either a honda or beemer so would you use 2nd rate fuel or a cheap chinese tire?? I finally said eff it myself..I got dcs and a cpl modules but rarely touched it,so not long ago i placed my crosswind order(shipping expected next month)bought a tm warthog and a nice dxracer king series chair..Im goin balls in when im not truckin or carvin corners on my zx10.

If you get the chance,go watch the history channel..They have a show called dogfights and they talk with pilots from different eras abouth their shoot downs..Sometimes they talk specificly about what imputs they used for specific moves..Oh its on youtube and dvds to..Even if you learn nothing its still fun to watch.. I remember some ww2 pilots discussing the use of rudders in unique moves and even some phantom pilots of nam era..

Man o man thats a simple and small cockpit..Wonder what kinda pc power is needed to run it all and how much to build...That would be perfect for me..

SUBJECT...TUTORIALS So far i have the froggy(freebie as we all know)p51/f86/a10c modules.. Im looking for tutorials on everything from learning the start up to flight and munitions use and even pilot lingo/terms i keep hearing when i watch dcs youtube vids..Basically im gonna start from scratch as a total newbie so i can learn before i get into group flights n such.. Finally decided to get my butt in gear and use what i bought in dcs and what i recently purchased(hostas warthog,dx racer king chair and cross wind pedals on order)... With my work schedule(long haul trucker)its gonna take me months to get all my ducks in a row to learn all this stuff...I would like to be a half decient addition to the gang here before i go online and fly with others..

Man o man i love all the training aids i see in different threads... Once i get myself all started up again ill be needing some training but "MY" biggest prob will be scheduling...I drive long haul truck and im never home the same days per week so some sorta schedule would be an idea..You book your training time ahead of time..

cougar Tried a wack of times to reply to your msg..No luck.. My cougar is may as well say new..Its sat on my deck as a paper weight more than its been used.. I might have 5 hrs of use on it,bone stock,zero mods 350 cad plus shipping and p/p Im in novascotia canada..

I did see a vid on youtube and one of the reviewers mentioned some tearing effects..I dont know squat about all that tech stuff but although its geared twards gamers i get a feeling its not worth it..

K folks.. Selling my really litely used tm cougar..Its sat on my desk to long and not being used..I bought it in either 05 or 06 and i might have a full 5 hrs use on it..I just never had the patients to map it and so on.. Its got a few scratches from sitting on my desk and being bumped n so on but other than that its as if its new.. Would like to get $350 cad.. Love to fly a phantom...Even in a skilled pilots hands its out classed by todays jets and pilots but still the sexy beast it was back in the day. Wouldnt mind a few ww2 bombers to that are as functional as the rest are.. As for the back seaters issue,why not have a lil drop down menue for his tasks but have some sorta auto for emerg or chk 6 and so on..

As i was surfing here i as usual got sidetracked on other jet stuff and ended up in youtube watchin f4 vids... I came across this and thought other might like to listen to it..Hope its not a repost..It made me feel as if i was there in some way..

Just add a busty hunny flyin it with a flight suit zipper a lil low and ill give it a 2 thumbs up..lol
