Some interesting responses here, I don't have time to respond individually. But arduino, seems like something I'd like to look into. This would be a great project indeed. The end goal would be to videotape it and show that it can be done. No warhead of course, not that i have one :p

I'm just experimenting here, it's nothing serious or not part of a larger project or anything.. I download a video on youtube of a drone flying over some fields and houses. I imported it into Windows movie maker, removed the annoying techno music which always seems to make an appearance in such videos, added the sound effect I wanted on a loop. Changed the video to slightly blurry and black and white with some other minor changes. I want it to look like the schvall targeting system display. If you get my drift. However, the last bit is getting the screen info (cross hairs) and other such stuff to onto the video. Is this going to be difficult> Any tips? Any help would be appreciated.

How difficult would this be to implement. Isn't the afterburner effect very similar? It would be cool to see it.

So I was told to head to the consecutive waypoint's. I head off to WP 2 (1 doesn't show up). Flying in my fav SU25T. What is the general altitude I should fly at, on the way there? What is the best way to avoid SAM's? My Countermeasures don't seem to do much. I've been shot down too many times now. Can anyone give advice on proper combat measures? I'm not a real trained pilot.

I installed the beta DCS today on steam, and since I bnought the modules on the ED site they weren't there, so I downloaded the installer of FC3 and p51 from the ED site, but it says I either I need 1.2.7 installed or I need 1.2.8 of FC3. How can I install the FC3 module? There is no module manager in the steam DCS version menu.

Well, since my 'non-lethal AA missile' thread went so well. I thought I'd run this by you. How about an A-10c with propellors instead of jet engines, in the exact place. How would it perform? Lets say its load is reduced. Could it ever be useful?

I want to use the mouse for my aircraft up, down, bank left and right. The control options doesn't allow this it seems. The mouse axis is not even clickable.

what a pilot cant glide an plane to the ground, or a chopper can't autorotate now?

Anyone thought about ways to shutdown an aircraft without destroying it or the pilot? Like a non-lethal system. So the aircraft can be captured and the pilots held for questioning. I have ideas, but not ready to share them yet.
