  1. During the weekend I'm available any time. Maybe 14:00 - 15:00 is also suitable for the test but it is quite uncertain yet. Thanks for organizing the event, Slazi.
  2. I'd also join. When do you plan to fly this mission?
  3. Thanks for the infos. Unfortunately I haven't time to check it yet but at least I know now where to look for the answers.
  4. I haven't found any documentation about GMC (GMK-1). Can anyone explain how to use this panel (located left overhead) and actually what is it for?
  5. Unfortunately I don't have video yet but there are some nice guides about the doppler navigation system. I learned from these: http://www.alasrojas.com/2.0/foro/do...3233fff2a388c5 http://kriegsimulation.blogspot.hu/2013/10/dcs-mi-8mtv2-magnificent-8-basic.html http://kriegsimulation.blogspot.hu/2013/10/dcs-mi-8mtv2-magnificent-8-basic_29.html So as to make easier the calculations I've made a simple excel table where you need to put in only the distances and directions of waypoints from the initial point as you read from the map. The table returns the distances and the magnetic directions from waypoints to waypoints. Of course it works only when you know the waypoints in advance. navi_aid.zip
  6. I suggest to try to find two hours during 17th May (Saturday) that is suitable for at least 3 of us. Should you participate please define the hours between 9 am and 17 pm (GMT) that are NOT good for you. I hope some free hours will remain.
  7. Although I have managed to understand the basics of navigation in hip but I have to practice lot, yet. If there is time to prepare I'd join with pleasure.
