  2. As long as we all waiting for the new A-10A Model, i want to present my new A-10-Skin which iґve made last night. (i always loved the "HAWG"-Nose-Art:D) (THANKS to Mitch Janssen and others for the templates i used for this) It is based on a real Aircraft, that is operated by the 47th FS homebased in Barksdale/ Louisiana and now in action as an OA-10A in Afghanistan. AND i have modified the Soundfiles for the GAU-8, i think it sounds now a little more like a fat gun. Download here BTW. A new A-10 Model is badly needed. :pilotfly: The old current one is in some cases slightly incorrect. (as i realized while i painted this one) Iґve read the thread on www.sim-mod.com and i think there is really something wrong with the Pilot-Size in the new model. Itґs like, heґs sitting in a greenhouse. What iґm trying to say, maybe heґs really a little too small-sized? And check the Tailcodes, some are not matching with their color-schemes.   3. YEP! that would be cool. Didnt find the MY settings til now, ether its too blurry or its too dark. :( And always start and exit Game gets annoying me. Any way to change settings ingame??

  5. How did you know that??:D I know, that RPG is pretty useless. Especially with no rounds to shoot with. :music_whistling: It´s just messing around. So, I added this entry into the meinit.xml <Car CLSID="{A31515C1-1FA1-43F6-9FA1-B135711711F1}" DetectionRange="0" Name="Bomber" Rate="3" ThreatRange="0" WorldID="2"/> and of course according to this an entry on russian side. Now I can select a vehicle named as Bomber in the editor, but ingame a T-80 is shown. :huh:
  6. I found the "Bomber.Lom" in the shapes folder, now my Question: is there any way, to integrate this guy into the game without replacing a vehicle? I mean, obviously it was planned to use it ingame, cause there is an entry in the "technicstable.sht" too. (named as Grenader, index=48 ), but i didnt found any mention in the meinit.xml . (and thats what i need, am i right?) Here´s a Pic:

It´s not a bug, it´s a feature! :D unfortunaly i didnt see any way to change the Fire Mask, which seems to be hardcoded. the only thing you can do, is making it more transparent and that at cost of the intensity of the flames. Problem is: awesome Fire on the Ground means ugly Fire on Planes and reversed. I will upload both Options shortly at LoFiles. (Hope it works this time:music_whistling:) P.S. Please excuse my abscence, but ATM i´m sitting in a bathtube filled with work. :cry:

  9. Which weapon are you using at the previous screenshot? Maybe it is because of your Visible Range Tweak. I didnt have this one, so i cant say anything about that.   11. And what are u doing there? Btw. What are your settings?? DONT use it, if your settings are low!! I didnt tested it for low settings and it was not created for low settings. at least medium is required

  13. patience guys, patience :smilewink: Iґm very busy at work at the moment and i wasnt that satisfied with the result. And i have to pick up the files you really need, which is not so easy, cause i ґve edited almost everything! :music_whistling: (try and error-method):D guess it goes out until weekend. Some updates:
  14. This time i tried to deal with LOMACґs Smoke and Fire Textures. :D Iґve never liked those big burning fire animations and those plump smoke columns. So i tried to change this Here are some results: BEFORE: (4 m/s Crosswind) AFTER: (4 m/s Crosswind too) Here you can see, the fire is smaller and the smoke looks a little "smokier" and the last ones to compare Unfortunaly the duration of burning vehicles seems to be hardcoded. (or are there any other infos) Feel free to post you opinion! :music_whistling: P.S. Now i just have to collect all changed files and then i will upload the whole thing. (Problem is, i´ve lost the overview a little :P)

  17. Hogs and Frogs, here we go! :D at the moment iґm messing around with the BMP-IFVґs, (horrific to repaint them!!) But time will tell. Next Pack will follow in any case. (But it could take some time, cause my bookґs filled and Winter is going to leave , so I have to work off a lot in my business) And yes, iґve tried to repaint some Buildings (Hangars), to make them look more colored or rusty, but the result is not really satisfying to me, as you can see. (it was just playing around) Thats all for now, Wish you a clear six. :pilotfly:
  18. Gern geschehen, Landsmann! :D Yep, that was my intention. As an almost only mudmoving pilot, i was all the time frustrated about the loveless painting of the Vehicles that ED delivers. I´m often recording my CAS-flights to review my accuracy and it hurts my eyes sometimes when i see a vehicle like the default Avenger (for example). But it seems, there ain´t many A/G pilots in here. (not really a response) :noexpression: € But a lot of Downloads. :thumbup:
  19. is that officially confirmed?? I mean, everywhere you look for, you just find this post from an "employee" of Divx. The disabled Upload-function could have other Reasons, maybe??? But if it´s true, that could be a very sad Day for Moviemakers and all of us that prefer not to kill our eyes by watching YouTube.

  23. Do you have a conflict in Game or just in Modman? You can ignore the Modman conflict!! look at these shots: the details of the destroyed Planes is one feature of the Lod-mod (if i´m not wrong) and it works fine together with the craters. (even so the visibility of vehicles) in this case you see the "TOR" from a Distance of about 1300m and no "Box" is visible. In the last shot you can see same scene/Distance but without the VehicleLOD-Mod and you clearly see the old LOD settings. So, it works!!
  24. Tested it and found out the Problem is only in Modman, not ingame. The improved LOD-effects are still existing and the Crater-textures too. Just make sure you have installed TekaTeka´s Mod first and then the Craters-Mod. I think, important is that the new modellod.txt -file is installed.
