  1. One reason: immersion

I've lost track of the amount of sceneries I've bought for X-Plane but I can tell you they add so much to the immersion of being at an airport. It becomes part of the experience rather than something to rush through.

Just like X-Plane and Flight Simulator, you don't have to buy it. The basic version will be there for you.

  2. I just want to quickly say that I overlooked this plane because there are so many modules in DCS that I don't have time to fly. Well that was a big mistake! I downloaded the MB-339A last night and fell in love with her! This is such an incredible module and I can tell the developers poured their hearts into her... Not only does it look right but it feels right on the ground and in the air. That is saying something when compared to the mighty DCS modules. Well done.

  3. GTFreeFlyer - thanks, yep I got that covered but the issue is I start uncentered and pressing VR recenter puts me back in the uncentered starting place.

Speedywrx - thanks, but I can't seem to get "Num0 - RAlt" Save Cockpit Angle, to save the angle! I hit the keys at the same time. I'm wondering what else am I missing...

  4. This post from @tronorail did the trick for me. I was experiencing the same thing until I made these changes and it's night and day better:

" On a whim, I opted into the beta branch of "Windows Mixed Reality for SteamVR" on Steam and then manually enabled automatic motion reprojection in one of the config files. It solved the problem completely.

The guide I followed is here:

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/win...r-steamvr-apps "

  5. Hey guys, I have a recent issue where when I load in, my view is no longer center in the cockpit but over to the left and lower so that my head is in front of the left side instrument panel.

Hitting num key 5 (or the button I have binded) does not reset the view, so what I have to do is use right-ctrl + right-shift and the various num keys to move my head to the correct center position. It literally started happening two days ago. It is the same ever since.

Any ideas how a can return my VR view to the center? "Num0 - RAlt" / Save Cockpit Angle doesn't work, as pointed out in another thread.

    Thanks

    Len

  7. X-Plane has excellent flight modelling and GA is its specialty. AirFoilLabs have the best complete package C172 product available and SimCoders offer an equally indepth product for the default C172.

Given that DCS is a combat sim it sticks to military trainers of which there are a limited few already but it would be nice to see an SF260 or DA20 in DCS which oddly enough are available in X-Plane.

The SF260 in X-Plane is amazing btw and would be so wonderful to see in DCS.
