Towsim, yesterday we had a nice mission, we used Aries with different modules and everything worked flawless. Only one thing that I don't know if it's a bug or just the way that Aries works. We noted that we could hear the PTT release button "beep" sound every time one of the pilots pushed it, even in channel frequencies that we actually didn't have sintonized (in fact, even with the radios in off). Hi Towsim, we continue testing Aries in some of our missions and we are quite happy so far. I have some suggestions for your next release. We noticed that when a pilot is ejected all the radios that were in use are still controllable. Maybe it would be better and more realistic just to keep a guard channel. Also, some people that fly BMS told me that when talking into a radio channel they know that somebody is trying to talk simultaneously into the same one because they can hear a small beep. It could be nice to have some acoustic notification in this situation. I don't know if this is realistic but it helps. Finally, it could be good to have the three radio channels with some preset for the hearphones audio channels by default :D. The other day one of my colleagues couldn't hear us in UHF until we realized that he forgot to configure an audio channel (L and/or R) for this radio. Thank you and good work :thumbup:

Hi, a colleague in my squadron has told me that in the Signal Distribution Panel of the Huey, only he is able to change the switch into three positions. He can't use neither the Intercom nor the position 4 of the switch. Thanks

Hi, it was my fault. Something was wrong when I updated from 3.0.14. After reinstalling TS 3.0.15 from scratch everything worked again. Yesterday we had a test with different DCS mods and it was quite satisfying. We will keep testing. BTW, some people in my squadron fly with Saitek X-55 and used Saitek's software to develope their profiles. It seems there is an issue with Saitek's software since the last TS versions doesn't support Direct Input, so they keep working with and old TS version. Therefore they are unable to use Aries. I'd like to ask you if somebody in your group is using X-55 hotas with Saitek's profiles aswell and, if it is the case, which solution they found. Thanks again

Hi, When installing Aries I found two things: 1) Even if it is not selected the option of installing DCSOpenBeta, allways an OpenBeta directory is created inside de DCS world directory. 2) Changing the install paths with the button doesn't work. I need to type the directory path if it has not been properly detected. An additional thing that I detected, and I mentioned above, is that it takes a bit long to return to the main windows of the DCS program (or the window desktop in MP) when quitting a DCS session. Some colleagues of mine even had to stop the program with the task manager.

Hi, I found that if you start a CA mission as a Tactical Commander DCS crashes. But, if you start with an aircraft then you can change to Tactical view and other units without problems.

Great work, I just installed this version and trying to do some tests. I found that you solved the crash problem when quitting DCS. AMBI_Jay mentions that DCS hangs but I think that what happens is that it takes a bit long to return to the main program window. If you wait, no problem. I don't know if this is an issue that can be solved.

Nice to hear that. In my squadron we scheduled several MP testing sessions this week with different modules. It could be nice to try the new version !! BTW, I had problems setting the channel frequency in preset mode into the A10C radios. For the VHF AM and FM radios, channels 1 and 2 always share the same frequency in preset mode, the last one loaded into one of them. For instance, if I put first a frequency in channel 1, and then in channel 2, channel 1 has the same frequency as channel 2. If I put the frequencies in reverse order, that is, first channel 2 and then channel 1, both have the frequency of channel 1. UHF radio works fine.

Nice mission, I enjoyed it a lot. I made a video but it is in spanish, sorry, since I edited the footage for my squadron. But, you can jump to minute 11:16 and mute the speakers ;).
