  1. I've found that with the keyboard that I have (layout=Azerty Belgian) certain key bindings do not work. This is obviously partly the result of the Q being an A , etc, but even if I use my keyboard 'as if' it was a Qwerty certain binds still don't work or don't work as they should. Not even when functions are rebound to other keys or key-combinations ... or even to the HOTAS. I've eventually found the combinations to use in order to enable my Reflex Sight and to issue "Radio Commands" but they aren't very user-friendly and I can't change them. Still unable to do certain things like enable auto-pilot because of this incompatibility of my keyboard with the DCS though. The ideal layout is probably within the Qwerty Family , but which one (US? International? ... Something else?) and question probably boils down to "Which keyboard layout do the Devs use?".
  2. Turns out for my specific keyboard (Azerty, not Qwerty) the work-around combination that unlocks the Radio Command menu while in the air is : ALTGR+µ Seems depending on the "exotic" keyboard in use (non-US Qwerty? non-International Qwerty?) other combinations may do the trick. Others were succesfull with ALTGR+\ or ALTGR+#. Strangly enough binding the relevant function to your HOTAS DOES NOT work so only way to go is trial and error, it seems. My "µ" key is right above the right-shift key and next to the Enter key. So if you have this problem and none of the options above work you might want to try ALTGR+[key above Right Shift and next to Enter], whatever key that may be.
  3. Hi all, :helpsmilie: Either I'm doing something wrong or there's a bug in the use of Radio Commands in the UH-1H : I can not issue any Radio Commands while in the air, only when I'm on the ground. Often a bit silly : I have to land before I can ask permission to Land... give Patrol Updates ... relay Start of Patrol .... This seems to be the case in all missions where Radio Commands have to be issued and I seem to recall having had the same problem when doing Slingloads on MultiPlayer as well. Known 'feature'?
  4. So am I the only one that can't get passed the second LZ? This is where I have to put down the grunts in my Huey and I have to do it in a radius of 40meters from COO. But after what seems a successful drop-off the COO orders to take off again and RTBs! And at base he does not even land but starts doing infinity loops oround the airfield (eventually he runs out of fuel and crashes ... or I do). Crazy. Really enjoyed this mission at first but now it's a stone around my neck that I can't finish. EDIT: Figured it out : You HAVE to let the leader land first. Touch the ground before he does, even if you're in the 40m readius ... and that crybaby RTBs! Loved this mission at first, but now that I've completed it it is clear to me that this is not formation flying with army-buds No. This mission is all about a CO trying to fraternicide one of his subordinates!

There's a crashed heli near Balota Airport. Maybe you can go there and fix it? I think there are some spares to be found in the tents in front of Balota Airport and in Balota Control Tower as well.
  6. Practice with the P-51D and the TF-51D, of course. It will be ugly ... but fun. ;-)
  7. New Chopper > Vietnam Map > Yet Anther Fixedwing. Belsimtek is the only 3rd party developer that has focused on helos (we're very fortunate that they're so skilled at it too, cause could have been very different ...!). Expand on that niche, please. A LittleBird, maybe? ED's focus on WWII isn't going to bring anything for the rottorheads either, that's for sure!
