But i think the base of the color is ''Airbus like (light) blueish''. https://www.modellingnews.gr/el/νέα-μοντελισμού/mirage-2000-under-skin-ioannis-lekkas-ilias-gkonis-eagle-aviation

Indeed the color looks different with various light conditions. If you want you can check also my own photos (in some you can see the direct effect of the light and the shadow on the color).

Off topic (sorry for that). Do you know the functionality of the panel that is right of the Navigation Indicator? I know that we had modified the CG to carry 4 SW and that panel has to do with the missiles selection, but could you describe with more deetail what are those switches doing (TIPS, M, ST2 etc)? And what is their relation with the armament control panel on the right side.
About the radar videos, you can see short shoots of the radar display here . There is also a french movie showing the radar display (have to find the video for that). Don't know though if that helps you.

F-4E vs Mirage F1C. Epic dogfight duo over the Aegean for 2 decades between the 2 neighbors (thank God though the red button was never pressed). It hasn't to be only Phantom vs Mig.

And btw, about the possibility of developing the CG version - obviously as a payed addon (together perhaps with an early french -C version , CZ etc) i have to note that the father of one of the persons who are mentioned on the last page of Aerges manual (12. Credits - SPECIAL THANKS - Technical support) was actually a former CG pilot.

And F-16 FM / FCS will be reworked (near the end). The viper will be able to hold 9g's for more than 9 seconds. 1 sec onset rate for 6g's.

Bummer you work is amazing! Love your F-5 cockpit textures! [Of topic = If you have the time and passion perhaps you could consider doing also this M2000 cockpit mod. ]

Hi, this has been discussed in-depth before.
Essentially the current behaviour is approved by SME with thousands of hours in the plane and verifiable by the performance data. Some errors here and there might still be present (and the behaviour at very high AoA and with asymmetric payloads will be reviewed). But, especially for subsonic speeds, we are confident that the model is very accurate.
Some tips/clarifications: the F1 can carry a lot of fuel for its size, so I'd recommend not dogfighting unless you're below half full. It also likes to stay fast. It's possible to outrate other contemporary fighters but only with low fuel and keeping the speed high. Disengaging and extending to search for more favourable fight conditions also works quite well.
According to the declassified real libyan F1 manual (several pages of that are already posted here a lot of times) there is an uncontrollable wing rocking between 20 - 22 degr. ''nose up'' (assume it's AoA) with combat flaps selected. Is this currently modeled? Also, i currently moddeled the first part, where it says that above 20 'nose up'' pulling the stick aft wont increase anymore the turn rate?

AI is junk. Btw, i've seen that, for the F1 specific, the AI pulls more AoA as the skill level increases. If you select ROOKIE . the AI flies up to the ''normal'' AoA limit of 17 degr. and the flying performa nce is somewhat more believable. TRAINED AI flies iirc with 19 AoA etc, above that you will see some UFO - ballerina style movements.

Bumping this old thread. You never know. I love the T-2E

M2000C's stick displacement is
- Up : 43.2 mm (until the elastic stop - 54 mm til the mechanical stop position)
- Down : 30 mm
- Ailerons : 12º.
Also the interesting part is that above 300kts the stick commands (througth the fbw) load factor and below 300 kts AoA (actually there is a transition zone 325 - 275 kts between the 2 control types).
Curious to know how's the Eurofighter's functionality in that area.

Is the stick travel on roll, pitch up and pitch down in the real plane symmetrical or slightly different like for example the M2000's one?

Can anyone suggest a wired head clip that can be mounted on the right side of the headset?

A new trackclip won't help if the camera is picking up background light! You need to fix that first, by either dimming your room (closing the curtains) or lowering the IR-threshold setting of TrackIR.
Yes i know, i play always with the curtains closed and it works fine. I' ve opened the curtains only to test out if the unit can catch the background light and has still functioning leds (as it seems to me to be the case).
-
So i 've did the following test: because my room is bright i've opened the curtain and the trackir caught immediate the background light, the left green light went on and i had an abrubt movement in the camera view window. So the camera unit seems to be working and the problem must be the head clip. Will order a new one and see how it goes. Currently i don't have another trackcklip to test it out. Thx guys!
-
Thx!. The problem is that the 3 green lights aren't appearing anymore.
-
So my Trackir 5 stopped tracking. The left green light doesn't come on and no movement of the head clip can be detected. If i launch DCS the right green light comes on. If i pause the device through the software both lights go on (orange), if i unpause the lights go out . In device manager the systems appears normally. How can i determine, if the problem is caused from the base unit (that sits on the monitor) or from the (third party wired head clip that i have on my headset and i'm using for a long time now?
Thx!

Guys, for 2D - 4k gaming, is there a noticeable difference in DCS between a 5600X, 5800x3d, 7800x3d or 13700K or that resolution is heavily gpu dependent?
M2000C blue grey cockpit

Good work! I appreciate your effort! IMO it should be looking more blue than grey. Like that in the wip picture you've posted before the final version. I think you were there very close to the blue color, at least as it appears on the various photos of the real cockpit.
