  1. I want to make use I can save all the work Ive invested in my Viacom Pro profile in the event I have to move to a new machine or restore my computer from scratch. Is this the correct procedure? 1. Back up and then restore my speech engine profile using the speech profile manager linked on the VoiceAttack how to page. 2. Install voice attack and then Backup and restore the VoiceAttack .dat file located in the c:\users\yourname\roaming\voiceattack folder 3. Install Viacom Pro and then Backup and restore the Viacom pro for DCS World.vap file to the VoiceAttack\Apps\Viacompro\profiles folder Is this correct? If not, what should I do? P.S. It would be nice if this was covered in the Viacom Pro Manual. (Apologies in advance if it was and I missed it!)
  2. Even as a tightfisted so and so, I would pay good money for a Dynamic Campaign module for DCS. More so than many existing modules. It would allow me get so much more enjoyment out of the modules I already own. My one and only experience with a DC comes from AV8 B harrier Assault back in the day. It was very simple but a lot of fun. For those who don't know the key features were that instead of playing a single pilot, you had a squadron of Harriers stationed on an aircraft carrier off the coast of East Timor. Your mission was to win the war in east timor. You set what sorties few, the mission types, the targets. And of course you were free to fly these missions as well. It was simple yet involved strategy and resource management. Get it wrong and you run out of Harriers. So there were also stakes. I think someone could keep it simple like this yet do something very deep with the building blocks of today's DCS. Somebody please give everyone who likes more than just sandbox from single player a break and make version 1.0 of this module. Might as well make it a custom dc creator/editor while you're at it. Then just keep releasing upgrades improving, expanding and deepening it over the years. My money is ready. I'm sure I'm not the only one. Do your market research and I'm sure it will tell you the player base is large enough for this to be viable.
  3. Damn! I use an x52 pro.
  4. Air to air refueling yes. That is something the Su-25T doesn't give you. What I'm saying is I assumed the Su-25T would be the poor man's option and the a10 c would be a better experience given it was the paid option. What I'm finding is it's just a different experience. Then again I do need to give the a10c more time. But damn it's slow!
  5. How so? Too easy? Not sure what you mean.
  6. Thanks! and thank you for your guidance on the trim. I can see it's quite a bugbear for some. Did you ever encounter a youtube video you would recommend that covers dealing with this particular issue? I find the combination of video and commentary to be much the best learned aid.
  7. I started with the Su-25T and then moved on to the A 10c just assuming it would be a better experience. But it turns out I miss flying the Su-25T! I find it more fun. I don't mean because it's a less complex sim with less buttons and systems to learn. I like the variety of weapons it can use. All those guided missiles, and the anti-sam weapons. Dare I say it the A 10c feels more limited in comparison. And then it's faster than the A10c. Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way? Then again it's still early days for me with the A10c so maybe I just haven't got deep into it enough? I'd be interested to read what others think.
  8. OK, so I was just about to start investing time into the BS2 and I came across this thread. It's kind of putting me off. Are the issues really that bad?
  9. I guess I'm doing something wrong but have no idea what it is. Every time I click this link to download the files I just get webpage not available, http://files.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/173790/ Have the files been moved? Is there another website I need to log into first?
