  1. Yes. Turning off full screen did the trick. Now on to that nosewheel problem with A10-C MkII.... Thanks for your help.
  2. Here is the log. I'll change the lua also. Thanks much! dcs.log
  3. I'll get the log file. Meanwhile, I'm not sure how to disable full screen if I can get into the game?
  4. After the last Win10 update, DCS just stays on the full-screen "splash" screen - consumes about 3% CPU, no GPU, and never gets beyond that. I'm running with 16Mb mem, 2 TB disk, GEForce GTX 660M, Pent I7 3.6GHz in turbo mode.
  5. Comms among squadron members in created mission :helpsmilie: I placed a single aircraft and increased group size. Apparently, that is the wrong way to go? Not sure how to go about the other, as I created a quick mission and added it as a campaign. Don
  6. See, #1 is the question I have. All WM have same freq on UHF, and yup, using (via keyboard) alt minus to communicate.
  7. I've been experimenting with mission creation lately, and I've created one in the Nevada theater, A-10C, with 3 wing-persons. I'm not sure why, but I can't communicate with any of them (this problem also appears in "The Enemy Within" mission #26, where I can't communicate with wing-person.) Anyway, I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but how do I go about creating a mission where I have comms with the others in my flight group?
  8. Try it in the Caucasus - definitely NOT a training missile. I don't think the 65G even comes in that flavor. Anyway, I can post a film of my prob if u like. :helpsmilie: Don
  9. On Win10 with the latest updates, and DCS 3.5.4.26825, when I deploy with AGM-65G, the missile does not actually launch. I am flying with sim on all settings. When I launch the 65G, if I immediately hit F6 to watch the weapon, I don't get any reaction from the game. Likewise, my missile never reaches its target. I've experienced this in campaign mode, and have also created a separate mission to confirm my findings. The AGM-65G simply doesn't work. Anyone else with the same experience? Don
  10. Tom, thanks, you hit it right on the head. I noticed those settings in the .lua scripts, but my eyes passed right over the choices on the options page. Doh! :music_whistling: Thanks! Don:
  11. Hi all, I'm flying in simulator avionics and flight modes, and I noticed suddenly with the latest build that no labels are showing up for enemy/friendly forces. I've done all the usual things, such as LShift+F10, LShift+F9, etc., and have even reassigned these keys in case of conflict, but no joy so far. Anyone else experiencing this?
  12. Hopefully, this *.trk file will help dispell any doubts. LastMissionTrack.trk
  13. Speed Brakes I'll give you a video if I can. For now, the theater is Nevada, altitude ~10000 MSL, IAS ~180, Core RPM ~90%, OAT (F) 41. Build is 2.5.3.22176. No ordinance loaded. With full speed brakes, no change in IAS. Speed brakes retracted, no change in IAS. As I said before, I can take off with 95% load or more with speed brakes fully deployed, and no effect on airframe performance. BTW, this is on Win10, 3.2GHz, 16Gb, 2Tb, NV660GTX (2Gb), not the greatest HOTAS in the world, etc. Don
  14. re: Brakes :smilewink:
  15. Exactly. Look at the enormous effect a few inches of displacement of ailerons do to the aircraft.
  16. They open just fine - there is zero effect, even when flying horizontally. Hell, I can take off, at 95% capacity, with them full open and no effect!
  17. OK, so it looks like: 1) Choose HEI in the flight planner 2) Use IFFCC to switch to CM 3) Exit IFFCC?? And go back in and change back to HEI? Anyone think that would be a work-around until DCS figures this out?
  18. I've noticed that the only thing that changes when switching between WHOT & BHOT is the color of the crosshairs - the actual information doesn't seem to change at all, like it used to. Anyone else see this?
  19. Great to hear, but doesn't help me much. Any clues on what might be wrong?
  20. Thanks for that bit of tech knowledge to add to our collective documentation. This is particularly useful because of your attention to detail, and "how-to". Thanks again, Don
  21. I know I've seen the ability to migrate all mark points to way or mission points - but for the life of me, I can't find it. And yes, if I were on my knees with an AGM-65 to my head, I wouldn't be able to recall it. Let the fireworks begin. Don
  22. It seems like 1.5 since speed brakes have worked, but I thought I'd bring it up now for 2.x.x - how do we find out the build we're on?? Anyway, in a dive with no weapons, throttles to idle, speed brakes have absolutely no effect. I can try to capture this for anyone interested, but it's bloody easy to reproduce. Of course, the effect is worse with weapons - like Fred Flinstone putting his feet out on motor oil... nuthin. I reckon you get the drift. Don
  23. Got it - thanks Avg. Yep, found that to be true - just a few degrees left & right and they woke right up :)
  24. Thanks for that, Emmy! Don
  25. Yeah, they sure are! BTW, where in AZ are you? I'm all the way down in Ajo, and we're getting battered by the remnants of the hurricane out of the Gulf of Cali - nothing like a deluge in the desert! Thanks again for the help.
