  1. I have the same issue. Thankfully for me, a computer restart always solves the problem. I think your idea about the activation is valid, but only if the activation check occurs only once every 24 hours, because for me, a restart always allows me to run the program. But the next time I try to run the program after more than 24 hours, I get the same problem.
  2. I already had the latest versions of C+ and DirectX. Well...I wanted to see if it was hardware or software, so I reinstalled Windows, which is something I have been meaning to do for a while. I upgraded from Win' to 8.1, and DCS World runs flawlessly. Sometimes starting over is just the ticket. Thank you for your help!
  3. It has happened with all aircraft
  4. Thank you for your patience! I am new at trying to fix DCS World, it has always worked flawlessly before! Logs.rar

  6. Specs here. DxDiag.txt
  7. I have let it run for as long as 15 minutes, but generally it is pretty obvious that it has stopped working because the HD activity LED stops after 30 to one minute, which is about the time the game would start to load when it was working. Sorry I forgot to add my system specs. Thank you for your help!
  8. Hi all, I have been having trouble since installing Mig 21 and the latest update, so I did a clean reinstall. It didn't fix the problem. When I launch a mission, the game will hang on the splash screen. When I force close the program, it backs out to the debriefing screen with the no data recorded message. Sometimes, if I close the program and restart it, it will load a mission, but most of the time, it just hangs on the splash screen. No hardware or system changes, and the problem only started occurring after installing Mig 21bis and the latest update, and the problem occurs in all aircraft. Attached is my log files. Thank you for all your help! Logs.rar
  9. Now that made me LOL! Thanks!
  10. I am pretty sure I have isolated it to a bad USB port I was using for my sound device. Thank you for looking...if it breaks again, I will be back.
  11. I have a random crash while in the program. It may been sound related. Here are my logs from the Saved Games files. I know everyone is super busy, so whenever anybody can get some time to help, I would appreciate it. Until then, I will keep crashing my Dora. Thanks, Tomudesu Logs.rar
  12. I agree that it is more difficult, but not out of line with reality. Tail draggers are twitchy, cranky beasts, especially when that wheel is on a caster. For me, the easiest TO is to put the stick in the middle of the lower right quadrant of the controls indicator. Slam the throttle forward. A little right rudder will relax into a little left rudder and at that point she is ready to get airborne. At this point the right wing will droop and all you do is gently bring it up and ease the nose down. Take a deep breath and you are airborne.
  13. LOL I finally decided to try flying with the autopilot, so imagine my confusion when it didn't work, but I didn't know it wasn't working! Oh well, I can fly the thing pretty well without it, but my auto pilot isn't working either
