Ok, last request on this one....the english manual is actually linked to the dload page that is non-functional.... I found a french instruction manual, however, alas, I DO NOT read french and bable fish is only marginally helpful. Does anyone have an english manual/docs for LOATC?

Ok, lets just say for the sake of terminating the argument: I am not interested in exporting the positions of anything other than MY aircraft. Just like a REAL cockpit gps/moving map.... I dont always fly for combat...sometimes I just liek to fly for the hell of it.... I hit the quick mission editor, throw in ONE unarmed opponent..and then just tool around the area.... A moving map that feeds from GPS data would be great...we just need to figure out how to export LOMAC's co-ordinates to "NEMA" standard output...

Ok, I have stated in previous posts that I am a recovered fs2004 junkie. At one point I had my pocket pc loaded with pocket FMS and linked to fs2004 (via fsuipc and gpsout) so I could export the fs2004 GPS data to the handheld. I loved it!! I had a BEAUTIFUL moving map display. I recently came across a thread on frugals world, where someone managed to do the same thing (almost, actually exported to a lowrance airmap instead of pocket fms, but same output standard) in F4:AF ..... I started thinking that this would be GREAT for us close air support guys (Su-25, A-10) .... Have ANY of you "lua" geniuses out there (I KNOW YOU ARE THERE!! :D ) figured out a way to export this data OUT of lomac? I know that the game HAS lat/long co-ordinates in it..... Short version: Can any of the resident LUA experts make my MOVINGMAP / GPS work ?!?!? PLEASE!!!! :pilotfly:

Shredder, mnemonic, Does it just work with the matrix 4x20 ? or can I use ANYTHING that lcd smartie can drive? just curious...I was just over at the lcd smartie page, and it said that usind palmorb, I can emulate a matrix 4x20 on an old palm device....I just happen to have a couple of old palm pilot's laying around......I also have access to several OTHER lcd's that are supported by lcd smartie. Also, can you change the data that is displayed on the screen? Like pull OTHER stats? My mind is spinning with ideas and my soldering iron is starting to call my name!!

Awesome work man!! I used to be a MS Flightsim enthusiest...Now while I did recover from this "ailment", I do miss the vast ammount of external "accessories" available for fs2004. If guys like you keep up with the custom development, lomac will soon rival fs2004 / fsx in the "bells and whistles" category.... WooHoo!!! damned fine work!

Well, this just means that we need to form a COLORADO soviet Tactical Air Wing... Who's down for this? What do you guys fly? I have an Su-25 pit that I have been working on for a while....I think I spend more time playing with the pit than I do actually flying it...LOL "303rd TAW -- Ruskies in the Rockies" ???:lol:
