  1. Take it easy Deadman. I asked him and he answered me with his experience on the subject. Kinda what I asked for. I have searched for some acrylic plastic and looked for a type with the same surface structure and color-tone that are on the original panels but couldn't find a close match. Have you tried sanding white acrylic, spray paint and then cut? -Lars
  2. Warhog; Sorry for posting this here, but could you please tell me what color code on the paint you are using on your panels? My plan is to paint white acrylic and then cut it. -Lars
  3. No problem for me. But I think the panel was "correct" the way it was.
  4. ClayM: I did something wrong on the lines below AC GEN PWR. Sorry for that. I will correct asap. Oh.... never mind. It looks like you did some editing there yourself? Is that correct?
  5. Very good Job Clay! Continue posting them pictures :)
  6. Does anyone know if the parachute container for the F16 is the same used on the A10-C ACES II ?
  7. Thanks HMA! kind of you to help out. It looks like my panels is accurate then with 180.9750 mm
  8. I will take a look at it. Thanks for the heads up. I have not revived any PM from you lately. (If the real panel is 7 1⁄8 inches my panel should have the correct dimensions...)
  9. Looks fantastic Warhog! fan of your work!
  10. Good job ClayM, I like it a lot! I will do some tuning on the lines next to the text. It looks like the lines are to near and touch the text some places. Did you make the back plate of aluminium? Continue posting pictures of your panels! -Lars
  11. Great work! Looking forward to see the finished product!
  12. This sounds great Lynx, keep up the good work. I have a real seat pan and a parachut container for the aces II seat. I can ship it to you in Denmark so you can make accurate mesurements of them for your ACES II drawings? -Lars
  13. I see the mistake and its now corrected. JMR is nor corrected to RWR. Thanks for the heads up
  14. Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I will start on the panels myself after completing my 6DOF motion platform (around Desember) I have started taking pictures and documentation from the building progress and will create a new thread when the build is done if you guys are interested. In the meanwhile I will continue to improve the panels from the feedback I get. Thanks for the pictures ClayM. It looks very good IMO. Keep up the good work. I have to say that the holes for the switches are made for Honeywell switches that I will use in my build. they can easily be edited to match your own toggle switches, same with the dimensions on displays etc. Please continue posting pictures! -Lars
  15. CMSP and the CDU are now released. The keys and knobs will be released as a stp. file later. I think it will be best to have them 3D printed, sanded for a nice finish and if people bother, make a cast of them. ClayM; could you please post some pictures of the result so far?` -Lars
  16. Thank you Lynx! If you want there is no problem for me working together on the panels, so the cockpit builder community can get the best panels possible with the information we are sitting on. I can see many guys have looked at my drawings and that's what they are for. Really hope they will get to use. If you guys see some errors with the panels, please report back so I can adjust and correct the panels as soon as possible. -Lars
  17. Please post some pictures if you decide to try out some of the panels.
  18. nice work longcn. I'm glad people find help in my and others work to help them with their build. Your knobs looks fantastic BTW. Will you create all the knobs for the a10c ? Looking forward to follow your project. I came back from work yesterday and I am working on uploading the right console if you want to have a look. -Lars
  19. Fan of your work Lynx. Keep up the good work!
  20. It should be 144.45mm. Dont know why it says inches. It says mm in my drawings. So a heads up to all then: The backplate should be 146.05 mm wide and the acrylic plate should be 144,45mm I am converting the panels to DXF as we speak. So they should all be uploaded soon.
