  1. Wow, thank you very much! It worked. I can fly the MIG now! I can see that there is actually a MIG-21 subforum that my tired eyes must have skipped over last night, and that the solution is stickied in there. Thanks for pointing it out for me.
  2. Hi guys, Mine activates, but then immediately says its the Mig-21 isn't activated and asks for activation again. This repeats infinitely, and I can't even fly the damn thing. I sent a support e-mail a couple of days ago, but they haven't gotten back to me yet. And it seems they gotten back to you guys either. Siiiiigh. I really hope I didn't throw $50 down the drain.
  3. I've had the A-10C for eight months, and I'm no expert. It's a great simulation. Don't let it's large number of do-thingys intimidate you. Also, .END Affinity hosts a Free Flight and Weapons Training Scenario daily (hopefully, I have the desync issues fixed for good!). Friendly pilots who love to help.
  4. OK, Switching to ground starts for the aircraft seemed to fix any desync issues. There must be a netcode issue with air starts.
  5. No MIST being used here. Mission was running fine when I went to bed. I woke up, restarted the server, and now the units are doing their desync dance. It must be the air unit spawns. I have a good number of them (15?).
  6. I've been hosting a server, and the desync with AI planes is horrendous. There are periods where they all behave nicely, and then sometimes they are just bouncing 5000 meters up and down. Is there a practical limit on how many AI units can be spawned? My CPU or bandwidth is not being stressed, so I suspect it's either a temporarily problem with netcode or I have too many units.
  7. My two cents. I think the DCS plan could be better, but it's not horrible. I would ask 3rd party developers to work on modern aircraft first before they go on to tackle aircraft from different historical periods. If all the Flaming Cliffs aircraft were study sim like the A-10C, I would be purchasing module after module. But they're not, and are not planned to be, to the benefit of my wallet. The situation seems like a missed opportunity, because we have GREAT vintage aircraft simulations already, while modern combat aircraft study sims are too few. The DCS third party model seems to share many similarities with FSX. Build and sell whatever you want, albeit the quality of such addons have to be top-notch which is definitely a good thing.
