Dude I'm sorry, no need to get all bent out of shape. I have to unplug the thing often so I'll have to change it to where it doesn't automatically reinstall the driver every time I plug it in.
I have tried many aircraft within DCS. The P-51, Dora, Blackshark, Huey, A-10C and the F-15. I haven't tried it in any other flight sims/games so I wouldn't know. I bought it used so that probably explains my problem.
I have recently bought a Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2 joystick and I am currently having issues with it. I understand that DCS supports force feedback joysticks, but I cannot get this thing to work. I can fly around with it everything works except the force feedback. I get no resistance, no rumble effects, and it automatically re-centers itself. I've tried swapping the axis but that didn't make a difference and I have the "Force Feedback" box checked in the options menu. I am looking for anyone to point me in the right direction.
I noticed that the speed indicator on the left hand side goes downwards. As you gain airspeed the indicator seems to descend as it projects an increase in speed. A bit odd, especially when comparing it to other HUDs. I know that FC3 is not supposed to be a 100% accurate representation of flight systems and I could be wrong so please correct me if so.
