Dude I'm sorry, no need to get all bent out of shape. I have to unplug the thing often so I'll have to change it to where it doesn't automatically reinstall the driver every time I plug it in.
I have tried many aircraft within DCS. The P-51, Dora, Blackshark, Huey, A-10C and the F-15. I haven't tried it in any other flight sims/games so I wouldn't know. I bought it used so that probably explains my problem.
I have recently bought a Microsoft SideWinder Force Feedback 2 joystick and I am currently having issues with it. I understand that DCS supports force feedback joysticks, but I cannot get this thing to work. I can fly around with it everything works except the force feedback. I get no resistance, no rumble effects, and it automatically re-centers itself. I've tried swapping the axis but that didn't make a difference and I have the "Force Feedback" box checked in the options menu. I am looking for anyone to point me in the right direction.
I noticed that the speed indicator on the left hand side goes downwards. As you gain airspeed the indicator seems to descend as it projects an increase in speed. A bit odd, especially when comparing it to other HUDs. I know that FC3 is not supposed to be a 100% accurate representation of flight systems and I could be wrong so please correct me if so.
I have a question/asking for help. I was wondering if it were possible to replace the English Betty on Russian jets in exchange for a native Russian speaking Betty without over writing the English one for NATO jets. I have the Russian sound files for Betty and the only way to have them work would be to have them on all planes which is a real immersion breaker... It is either one or the other, not both. I have looked through a few sound config files and a few mention Betty, but I can't understand the code. Is there a way to change the file directory for Russian jets so the game can differentiate between two file versions, a Russian version for Russian jets and an English version for U.S. jets?
