Beta for Corsair is causing DCS to take forever to load and also multiple crashes. I'm guessing it's also something to do with being a different folder than stable? Different export.lua? I think that mean I just need to repair the export?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Gotta have that Wasp rumble haha
Did you check the DCS logs? I doubt that it has something to do with SSA

I want to understand how SSA works (the base package). I have an NLR HF8 gaming seat pad connected via USB. Finally got it working. There are generic settings for jets, pistons and helos. Some of the flight modues are "supported", i.e., if you run them, SSA will create a specific profile for that aircraft you can tweak independant of the generic settings. For example, I have the A-10 and it created a unique profile. I also have the UH-1D, and it did NOT create a specific profile.
Questions:
1. For each unique profile, independant gamers tweak their own. Is there a repository of these somewhere that can be imported? A good starting point is just that.
2. Is there a list of modules that create a unique profile? I see UH-1 mentioned from time to time but it didn't create that profile on my setup.
3. Can you run the pad AND bass shakers at the same time? I'd like to buy two, one for each side. My machine uses USB for speakers but there is a built in headphone jack (I believe that means it is an independant sound card) that I THINK can be used with Andre's low cost software. I think that would be pretty cool although I suspect tweaking it my take a lot of time...
Thanks.
1. You may check out our discord community
2. Currently, every official DCS module is supported. You may need to hit the refresh button
3. Yes, you can use seat and sound in parallel

Is it possible to set a turbulence effect when flying into cloud with simshaker?
SSA uses the data DCS provides. It calculates turbulence depending on g force and wind data. I'm not sure if in DCS the plane reacts to clouds...

Beta 2.7.12 is available. I just noticed that the version checker which checks if a newer version is available sometimes fails. This beta release should fix this issue...
So please get the latest beta from the website: SimShaker for Aviators (simshaker-for-aviators.github.io)-

That would be great. To make sure I understand this file... It would be a rotor whirl sound when the collective is pulled up or down causing significant Gs? Or just a transition sound between the low and High sounds? Or maybe I'm saying the same thing twice? LoL
If you use whirl and G effect, SSA increases/decreases the strength of the effect depending on the g force...
Kiowa support will be available on the weekend

Did you try the repair button in SSA?

Hi with latest beta sim shaker for aviators I no longer get speedbrake shudders effect when extending speedbrakes plus every aircraft I fly in DCS is detected as an Su27.
going to revert to latest stable and see if it solves the issue.
After installing and using stable none of these issues are present. I'm currently flying the F16 but there have been numerous other modules i've used with the same issue.
did you modify your export/simshaker.lua, e.g. by using Andres Mod Tool?

since the last 2 versions i get nothing in dcs for any module. testing it works fine though. any ideas why?
First thing is to check your export.lua and ssa logs. If you share these files, I can have a look...

New beta is incomming
On 3/18/2024 at 5:47 AM, Joebejammin said:I get a problem when flying now where when I pull too like over 5/6G in the Mirage F1 the lower rumble packs rumble at full speed until I turn the seat off? The issue will happen consistently every time I pull more Gs or fire the cannons until I repair the DCS file.

Sorry for the delay in responding, I just got back from vacation.
The 'judder' that I am talking about is when the skids touch the ground when landing, similar to when the wheels touch the ground in fixed-wing aircraft. All other aircraft seem to do this, except the Gazelle. I have tried all Gaz variants and none seem to do it.
In the SSA control panel, the effect is called 'Touchdown'
I am using the latest Beta of SSA. All other vibration effects seem to work OK.
Thankyou.
On 3/7/2024 at 7:43 PM, Polychop Simulations said:@f4l0If there is anything we can do to mitigate this, please let me know.
Yeah, the touchdown effect is a bit "tricky" for the Gazelle since she has no compressing struts... Can you provide me a single short trackfile that I can use to test on my side? I've currently no flight gear on my side and flying the Gazelle with keyboard is really tricky

Which seat do you use?

I use a Jetseat force-feedback seat. All FF works well with the Gazelle (rotor vibration, guns, missiles, g-effect etc.) except one thing; when I land there is no 'judder' through the seat. All other DCS helos have this, and it's a good thing to have, as you get some feedback when your skids touch the ground. I have approched Polychop regarding the issue, but they are saying that the problem probably lies within the SSA interface. Any chance you could take a look please?
What "judder" do you mean?

Dear Andre,
install the beta 2.7.3, test starting Spit engine, now the effects runs under 1000rpm perfectly!!
great job, thanks
p.s. can't test f18, no modul
Thanks for the feedback. Just some notes, I'm the dev of SSA

Funny story, the TelemFFB is derived from my SimSaker.lua... I found some comments in that file:
-- FC3 Plane sends to SimShaker
However, I found some hints how to get the RPM values for the Spitfire. New beta is incomming...
Beta 2.7.2 is out...

@f4l0 It looks like VPForce Rihno guys get engine RPM with LoGetEngineInfo() function for Spitfire.
Ok, I'll take a look if the data is useable for us...
