Hi All, I am running the latest public Beta. I added one binding to my throttle. It was not working. I have tried to map it to my joystick, not workin aswell. I tried to map it on a free key on my keyboard. not working. When coming back in the menu I see my changes are still there. It seems binding changes are not working anymore. What was mapped is still ok. Any ideas? Thanx

Hi all, Just a small history about me and DCS. I started playing Black Shark around 2009. I found out that I needed to buy a better joystick and during that time the Saitek X52 was my choice. I had a multimonitor configuration so on the second monitor I mapped the instruments that I needed. I flew hundreds of hour is the Black shark. So EG thanks for all the fun that time. When the A10 came out I bought it, nevertheless it was a busy time in my live so I had a difficult time with the A10 because I was not flying enough. Then I did not play DCS anymore for a couple of years. I started again in 2018 ( still same PC )and my joystick started to give issues. I bought the thrustmaster 16000 because I wanted to see if I was obsessed again. I tried to convince a friend to give it a go. He refused because he does not like flightsims untill he found out you can fly DCS in VR. He was so impressed about it. When I visited him and tried VR on DCS for the first time that was just a new world. For the ones who did not tried it yet please do so. Of course my 10 year old PC was not compatible with VR so I needed to do some upgrades. I changed to a ryzen 5 3600, 32GB Ram, Sapphire 580 and a Oculus Rift S. I am happy with the performance. A RX580 is not the best card. I wait for the next gen AMD cards and hope vulcan wil help aswell. Of course I added some nice modules like the F18, SU33, F15 and the supercarrier. When flying in VR you need easy access to all buttons. The Thrustmaster 160000 is a fantastic joystick for that money but it fails complete with button placement. So my next investment was a expensive VKB Gunfighter pro. Again a new world opened for me! Flying DCS in VR with a VKB joystick is a fantastic experience. Still the Black shark was a difficult beast to handle. I use the tabletop version of the VKB so it is not ideal when it is standing on the desk. I bought the 200mm extension and the Universal stronghold and now it is just perfect. The pleasure I have with the different modules, multiplayer with a friend of me, in VR with a fantastick Joystick is just the max. Sometimes I see people complaining with the Beta issues or the price for the modules. I have no complains at all ( maybe because I am in software as well ) I hope for some modules like the Tornado, F117, B1, S3 refueler, C130, Apache and a modern Russian clickable plain. So with that little story just a big thank you to Eagle Dynamics and VKB to give me so much hours of fun!!!!! Thanks

Hi all, I just try to map the press of the POV1 button. It was not working so I went to the VKB software and I do not see the button coming in. Is that normal ( do I need to configure that ? ) 2nd Just flashed to the latest firmware. On the black box I see now 2 green lights as well. Any idea what they mean? Thanx

I have exactly the same CPU a GPU and it is running fine even with higher graphical settings. I moved to VR in Januari. It is OK, not the best. My friend is running in VR with a Ryzen 3950 and a 5700XT, He has slightly better performance in VR. We both are waiting for the new GEN AMD graphic cards. CPU is not a issue at all!

Hi All, I created a mission with some Russian TU`s that are flying to an airport to bring reinforcements! When they are landed and on the parking spot the reinforcements are activated. What I see is that the TU`s are landing. when they are half way the landings strip the tu`s are disappearing from the mission??? I have no idea why? Please give me a hint? Thanx

Can someone please can give me a hint. I would like to have a mission succeeded not only when the goals are met. The mission is succeeded when landing on a specific airport or carrier and on a parking spot. Any hints how to achieve this in the mission editor? Thanx and best regards

I found semething in the mission editor trigger action ( groep stop ) and ( group Resume ). That was not working ! Thanx ( I try later this day the work around ). Seems logic

I do understand the trigger and how they work. I have tried and what I see is that IA is waiting very long to start... more the 10 minutes after I started rolling. This in combination with late activation. My preference is not using late activation. Instead I want them all on the airbase in a hold position. When the player plane is at the airport the IA should change from a hold state to the active one. How can I achieve the hold state. I will try with a new scaled down mission to investigate why they are waiting that long when introducing triggers and flags. I have used a msgbox to see if my flag was set when I expected and that was the case! Thanx for helping out

Hi all, When I create a mission for multiplayer we have multiple plains we ( Me and my friend ) choose from depending what we like that day. We are more in to Bombing than Air to Air. Nevertheless we fill up the sky with some bandits. There fore we use the IA to escort / follow us so they fight the bandits and in case they fail then still we have to do it. So in the mission editor I added some 4 pairs of f15 to follow each type of our planes. Because there are always just 2 of our planes in use 2 pairs of the F15 should do nothing. When I first start the mission the F15 groups that do not have the plane to follow they are still starting and going in the air and then go direct for the landing. So I added late activation for them and the first script when we jump in our plane is activate the correct group. We see that our escorts are there, nevertheless they are waiting ages before they start to roll???? I have no idea why? What we would like is that all our escorts are at the airport and the ones that have there plane to follow start immediately! Any hint is highly appreciated! Thanx

What you described is exatly what I have done! Seems to work somethimes! I do my test with launching the mission from within the missioneditor. I have the feeling that he doesnot load the updated luas script file? Is this correct? Thanx

Thanx Habu_69 I am futher, no errors anymore!!! I was able to make my first mission with the simple spawn as described above. Any addition to the code ore changing the Name ( also changed the name in DCS of course ) and it was not working anymore. So here a couple of questions. 1) Are the versions that I use the right ones? 2) Do I need to copy all the content from "MOOSE_INCLUDE-develop" in the "MOOSE-2.5.0pre1"folder? Hi all, Just started with Moose and I have my first issue. I think installation is ok. No errors! I use Moose version 2.5.0 pre1 and DCS latest 2.5.6 As I runned into problems with my first mission I scaled it down to the most easy thing. Spawning a Tank as in the example. The following errors occurs starting the mission. See attachemetns. I have added the 2 triggers were the load moose is the first trigger. What is differrent from the guide is the name of the moose file. In this release it is calle "Moose_Create.Lua" intead of moose! Code in LDT Spawn_Vehicle_1 = SPAWN:New( "Spawn Vehicle 1" ) Spawn_Group_1 = Spawn_Vehicle_1:Spawn() Group and unitname in DCS are "Spawn Vehicle 1" And of course the tank does not spawn. Thanks for any hint

Hi all, I gave created a mission where at the end someone is trying to escape. He is a part of a group vehicles that are trying to escape and you need to kill them all before reaching a location. The problem is that from the moment someone of the group is hit. They all stop and it is to easy because you find them to easy and the time pressure is gone. I do not find something in the mission editor to change that! Thanks for responding Best regards

Hi, We are at the latest 2.5.6....beta and we have the following strange behavior. When in multiplayer ( with 2 both in the F18) and starting from the carrierdek. From the moment I am unpause the game 1 of the F18 s is blowing up immediately! What we see before unpause is that the F18 who will blow up that only the noseweel is extracted?? Any ideas or is it a bug in this beta?

Can someone please help me wit the speed of a refueler. No matter which refueler I choose. No matter the altitude. No matte the speed I configure. It always fly at 170 knots and that is for me to slow to refuel. Any hints?

Hi, I try to drop multiple jdams at the same time on different targets. I follow exactly as in the grim reapers video In my case all bombs are just going to 1 target instead of 8. They are all going to the latest programmed target. After some investigation I see when I pusch the depress button in my TPOD it over rides all the stations targetting data. I uses 2.5.5 and 2.5.6 Please give me a hint? Best regards

I tried it and I have made good progress. This means I can hit multiple targets, nevertheless if I go with 8 bombs the 4 bombs on pylon B are not going to the tardget I want. I followed the post you have sugested: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.p...54#post4146654 I will make a movie of it. I have 1 other issue. THe bombs are overshooting the target always. I have tried with area and point track, same results. I do practice with tu160 as targets and always just overshooting them. Thos are not small targets, any hints? Thanks
