We did a test on our server. When playing on a multiplayer with no other players the Shrike will guide. As soon as someone else joins the server the Shrike will no longer guide, mostly seem to just fall short.
While sitting on the ground in Hawkinge with Qnh of 1013 hPa the altimeter reads 0'. Should be 524' for field elevation. Setting the Qfe of 994 hPa to read 0' at the field the altimeter reads 554'. Going to have a good trounce with my crew chief. Cheerio.
You have detents but without the fingerlifts they are just pull thru like the AB is a push through. The fingerlifts make the idle stop a hard stop.
FYI I use the HDG and CRS rotating knobs push function for my #1 and #2 Eng fingerlift engine start. Works great.
Hello Kaltokri, I'm a retired aviator and have been doing some instruction in DCS (mostly Hornet). If you're looking for instructors I might be available some time.
Had my roll spring break today. I've been using this Orion for 9 months probably 2/3 hrs daily. I've put in a ticket to try to get some replacement springs (I think). I really like this stick and want to stay with it.
Should we be greasing these springs and if so any suggestions on the best lubricant to use.
Anyone know of replacement spring that could be acquired in the US.
I placed a portable TACAN and set an NDB freq. Whoever (or should it be Whomever?} host the mission can receive the NDB but no one else logged onto the server.
I'm trying to set up a NDB in multiplayer for some Huey flights but have been unsuccessful. The host can receive the beacon but no other players can receive it. Is it not possible at this time or is there something I'm missing. I've used the TACAN freq. and scripting freq. with the same results.
Thanks.
