  1. Hey BD! Just flew "Leave no man behind". Cool stuff, but found a bug. I was tuned to the correct VHF FM freq (30 FM according to the briefing) for the guy on the ground. I could pick up his beacon on 252 UHF in ADF mode, flew passes over him and the beacon location provided by overlord. I could use the F10 Dialogue options to move the story forward, calling for flares and then calling visual, etc... but I never heard a thing from him back. No audio from Colt 2. I was in a tight orbit about 5NM from his pos most of the time, so I don't think distance was a factor. UPDATE: Nevermind, he died in the first assault and I didn't engage the infantry in time to save him. I just didn't get any feedback that he was dead and could still use the radio options to request flare, visual flare, etc... Gues I'll try again
  2. Just a small bug report on this mission. Everything went fine till I called in UZI, they never took off. When I switched to them with the F2 external camera the pilots were not in their seats and the aircraft was making a loud clicking noise. In the debrief it said they hit something (with their aircraft?!) and landed... hmmm weird, didn't effect the outcome though and everything else went off without a hitch. In any case, I attached the track and debrief log. Awesome mission, so far Scramble and this mission have been my favorites of the whole campaign, it just keeps getting better! :joystick: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/jktjdcx3nl70qp0/AAAxGYTck1g2r9P8QzrcULMVa?dl=0
  3. So I just completed this mission respectably. Got a lower score somehow than the previous attempt (55 and 60 respectively) even though I scored 16 kills including the MANPADS this go around. The trick is to start your in-flight align on the runway as soon as you get your CDU up. I think IRL the in flight align just needs steady flight for the heading and attitude alignment, which takes about 30 seconds to a minute, and then the remaining 5 mins you can maneuver (don't quote me on that I just did some googling around). So once I got into the air, I did a spray pass on the mortars and got nothing, but by my second go around I had my gunsight up and nailed the bastards. :gun_rifle: I still couldn't save warrior though, that dude gets blown up in like less than 10 seconds. I was set up for a gun run and on my inbound he died after calling he was under fire about 10-15 seconds earlier. Ohhh well, too bad for him thats how it goes sometimes... Well, IDK if it's because Im launching through DCS world, but when I don't wait for 4.0 0.8 on ground align, my EAC switch won't arm, and I can't get a corrected gunsight without it apparently
  4. Well, you guys are some steely-eyed sharpshooters then. Any tips for getting rounds on tgt without corrected gunsight?
  5. So just a question about Mission 11 - Scramble! [spoiler Alerts] No matter how fast I get my APU and APU gen up and start the CGI/EDU align process, it seems there is a mission scripted mortar round that hits you if you wait the 4 full minutes to align. However, without aligning the CDU/EGI, you have no corrected gunsight... And inflight align is like a 7 minutes process, by which time Warrior is dead, the tanks have blown up most of the base, and I can no longer find the enemy troops near the hangers. Unfortunately I never found the mortars to begin with so I'm a bit lost here... Am I doing something wrong? I know this is supposed to be like "Ohhh Shit!". Incidentally, is there any way to go back a mission in the campaign so I dont get what I assume is the worst possible ending of the scenario for my next mission [Warriro KIA, SF guys capture by I̶S̶I̶S̶ CLA, and no Wingmen due to dmg] its a bit disheartening  lol
  6. So had a problem with "Storm Before the Calm" (Mission 8 I think): Almost no radio feedback the entire mission. Destroyed all the escaping CLA units after the initial attack and "look at those fireworks!" comment from my #2. Got the "Overlord, Hawg 1-1 All six enemy units destroyed" and then nothin, dead silence for like 20 minutes while I held an orbit. decided to fly back to base, got about 40 NM back towards Kubaleti and then got the "new tasking, contact JTAC on the ground mortars attacking radio outpost" whatever the msg was from overlord, turned around at 2/3 fuel got there and everything at the outpost was dead already, could not contact JTAC at any point. destroyed the mortars cause I could see the flash of the guns and the ammo vic on my TGP. Again, radio silence. Turned around for home and landed at Kobuleti. No debrief or info on what happened during the mission. Much Confused. Anyway, loving the campaign updates, especially since I played the hell out of your original campaign before there was even pt 2. Thank Baltic_Dragon!
  7. Steam Version Hey Baltic Dragon, Been waiting for your official DLC to release since you announced it, but I have the Steam version of DCS A-10C, any info on when that is coming to steam or how to get the DLC from the store page to work on steam? It gives the "Not for STEAM!" warning when I go to purchase it from the E-Shop.
  8. I love this campaign and I played the Part 1 "beta-ish version" back when it was first released. First off, best campaign I have ever flown in the A-10. EDIT: Nevermind, I found out how to install it. Thanks again.
  9. So I have gotten back into A-10C after a failed attempt to learn what the hell was going on about 2 years ago. I've got the hang of all the basics and have completed several single player campaigns and multitudinous missions. Just wondering if anyone out there wants to do some multiplayer now that I've got combat employment and everything basic down pat. Still working on refining my gun run fundamentals and SAM avoidance, but I think I can hold my own. Gimme a shout if anyone knows anywhere I can fly with some good people (hopefully an experienced flight leader willing to teach and give pointers). I am hooked on this sim, and I wanna give a huge shout out to Baltic_Dragon and the "Enemy Within" campaign. That shit got my blood rushing and my pickle thumb twitching. EDIT: Just realized there is an actual multiplayer topic in the forums, I did not go up enough. Sorry for posting this in the wrong area.
