  1. Once again -- need help installing cockpit mod. :doh:I've been trying to install a cockpit mod for the MiG-15bis. I've searched the forums, but could not find a fix. Installed the following file: MIG-15BIS-CPT-TEXTURES.zip to this directory: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\MiG-15bis\Cockpit\Texture\ These are the results (see attach). What am I missisng? A lua file that need modifying? Thanks in advance--
  2. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2424388#post2424388 There is a sticky input and output forum that addresses your problem.:joystick: Sticky: corrupt calibration? crazy joystick response? Use this tools Fix it:
  3. Missing key bindings - F-86F The default keyboard bindings are for the F-86F Easy flight mode, i think. For the Real flight mode you have to assign them your self. The Mig-15bis key bindings are for the Real flight mode. Lion 13
  4. My first flight sim JET on a COMPAQ DeskPro with a monochrome monitor, using a two button, two axis CH Products joy stick. it came on 5 1/2 floppy and required a serial card.
  5. TIP on using VR software If DWVAC uses the Microsoft voice recognition engine, you should use the voice training (under setup microphone). the more you repeat the setup, the better your voice is understood. I have trouble speaking clearly, but have little problem. I use Voice Attack, you should buy the program ($8.00 US) to get full functionality.
  6. There are some training (start engine, t/o,etc,) under the instant action menu
  7. From Friday May 29th (00:30 Moscow time) to Monday June 8th (08:00 Moscow time), we will be offering 60% off on most DCS World modules. http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/shop/ ;)
  8. Subject: Throttle Axis Tune settings for DCS F-86F. I had the throttle set to the default curve ie. the 45 deg slope. I could not get a smooth repeatible power setting for a given throttle position. Also, there was a lot of lag between a change in position and a response. I know the F-46F as a lag in response to changtes in throttle. i.e. hence the phrase: "Getting behind the power curve.") The following settings appear to result in a smoother response with reduced lag: Dead Zone = 0, Saturation X = 100, Saturation Y = 100, Curvature = -15, Slider see attached screenshot--
  9. F-86F in real mode works fine, the problem may be due to the changes to the arcade mode (F-86F Game mode) in 1.2.16 update.
  10. I did, they looked ok.
  11. After 1.2.16 update, my HOTAS setup (CH Products: Fighterstick, Pro Throttle & Pro Pedals) the setup for F-86F has the axii cross-connected. ie. moving the rudder pedals moves the throttle, pushing the toe-brakes moves the stick, with and without the controllers connected. I've tried the following with no luck: Deleted the saved game folder and re-entered the profiles. Removed the module and reinstalled. Removed DCS World and reistalled. Removed and reinstall the controllers their drivers and software. :helpsmilie::joystick::wallbash:
  12. :book:To restore a CH Products device's connection to DCS without loosing it's DCS profiles try the following: 1. Open the Control Panel 2. Click on Devices and Printers 3. Scroll down to Unspecified Devices 4. Don't do anything to the ones labed; CH Control Manager Device 5. For each CH Product device there should be a label; CH [device name USB 6. Right click on it 7. Left click on Remove device, it will disappear 8. Wait a few seconds and it will reappear with a clock as part of the icon. 9. When to clock disappears the device is now re-connected
  13. That would be great if it would default to the last ac flown
