  1. My friend David has the exact same problem. He does not have a forum account, but this is what he said his exact problem was: quote: I am having problems with my Xbox One controller. First of all I have over 340 hours in game using my xbox one controller and keyboard for input. I recently tried playing the game and I cannot use my keyboard when my xbox one controller is plugged in. If I unplug the controller the keyboard works fine. When I plug in the xbox one controller the keyboard quits working and the xbox one controller works. I cannot use them both simultaneously. Please try to recreate this problem and find a fix for it. Like i said the older version of the game worked fine with this combination. Also, one of my friends also tested this and had the same problem. One of my other friends is using xbox 360 controller and keyboard with no problem with the newest version of the game. When DCS 2.0 first came out it worked fine also but now it does not work. Thank you. /quote I have an Xbox one controller and plugged it in to test it out. I also have the same problem with an Xbox one controller plugged in. The keyboard will not function at all. So, that makes at least three of us with this exact problem. I'm sure there are more out there.
  2. I spent about 4 hours making a mission, tested it piece by piece and everything was fine. Once I was happy with progress, I added a few images into the "briefing images panel" for blue and red team. Every time I would load the mission into multiplayer it would crash as soon as I picked a unit to fly. I thought it was just a multiplayer problem. I went back into the mission editor, and started removing each AI unit piece by piece thinking there was a conflict somewhere. Continuous crashes every time I would try to pick a unit to fly. Removed everything off the map except for one SU-25, and would still crash every time I would click the unit to fly it. Tried setting all the weather back to default settings, still crashing. I went into the images that I added (just a screencap of the F10 map for red and blue team). I removed the two picture files from "briefing images panel" and reloaded the mission. When I clicked the only jet left in the mission it worked fine. I reloaded the original mission I had been working on with all AI units, went to Briefing Images Panel and removed the same two picture files, and the problem went away. So somewhere there is a problem with briefing images. Once removed everything is fine again. I7-5820K 16 GB DDR4 2400Mhz RAM GTX980 Windows 10
  3. I'll try to keep this short and to the point. When hosting a multiplayer server: if I (the host) get shot down, crash, etc., then radio communications (ATC, AWACS, etc.) stop working for everyone in the server. This has been a problem for the past couple of months, and it is not a one time fluke deal. After further testing, I have found that if I get shot down, and load into a different jet than I got shot down in, then radio communication still works. However, if I get back into the exact same jet that I was shot down in at any later time while hosting, that will trigger the bug. If I never get back into that jet that was crashed then the radios will continue to work. It's certainly not my install or client. The problem was there with the Steam install. I uninstalled and went to the ED store version, and it's still a problem. I have no mods installed at all, the problem is with any mission I host, not just a particular one. And, I have also tested this on a completely different computer. I hope someone can look into this, because it makes me afraid to fly or do anything while I host in fear that it messes everything up for the other people in the server.
  4. Thanks for the insight, I was hoping I wasn't the only person who ever experienced this problem! Edit - Well I still have problems. I have found that if I play the game while I host then it will absolutely not reload properly. Same problems as above. However, if I start the server and never leave spectator mode then it seems to continuously reload with no problems. Any suggestions?
  5. Thanks for the replies, I let Steam check the game cache and reset everything. And yes, I am creating the missions with the same computer that is hosting the missions. That is an interesting point you made that I will keep in mind in the future. The only modification I made before was to allow to server to start unpaused. I let it all go to the default settings, and it seemed to reset once tonight just fine. I'm still not sure where the problem was, or if it will come back if I try to start the server unpaused again. I'm kind of afraid to touch anything at this point! I will continue to keep an eye on it. So far it works, with the only drawback being that I have to manually unpause the server. I probably should have mentioned I was using the Steam version earlier, I assume it uses the same files though. Here is what I'm working with: AMD FX9590 CPU R9 280X GPU 16 GB DDR3 Gigabyte 990FX motherboard Steam DCS install (no mods) with: A-10C, Mig-21, FC3, BS2, and C.A. modules main mission file with a trigger at 2 hours to "end mission" and "load mission"
  6. I posted this yesterday in the "multiplayer" section of the forum, but haven't heard much yet so I figured I would repost this here and hopefully someone might have experienced this problem: original thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=2299445#post2299445 I would appreciate any help trying to get a mission I have made to reload properly. I have a trigger set up so that after two hours the mission ends, and then a new mission is loaded. I have noticed that the mission always loads perfectly fine the first time, however when the trigger loads the mission it is either missing units or nobody can rearm. I have tried also just loading the mission again manually without using any triggers, and still have the same problems. I have also tried loading a different mission and then back to the mission I want, and I still get the same problems. The only thing I can do to fix it is completely shut down the server and start it up again. I have tried searching the forum and Google, but haven't found anyone that has had the same problem. Thanks for any assistance. Edit to add- I get the same problems no matter what mission I start with or try to load. Even missions other people have made, I cannot reload any mission properly. Edit 2- It is temporarily working by letting Steam check the game cache and resetting everything. The only modification I had previously made was to allow the server to start unpaused. It seems to work for the moment after checking the game cache, I just need to manually unpause the server. Edit 3- well, now it seems to work fine as long as I do not play while I host. I have found that if I play while I host the server then it just will not reload correctly. However, if I load the mission and stay in spectator mode then the mission reloads just fine. Any input here?
  7. Thanks for the reply. I can possibly send a link, however I have the same problem with any mission I host, not just the one I created. No matter what mission I start with I cannot reload any other mission without missing ground units, F10 map glitches, or rearming quits working. I'm considering deleting and reinstalling DCS. I do not have any mods installed.

  9. I am having the same problem, but I do have a workaround. I am using an Xbox One controller with my left/right bumpers as my throttle up/down. I also get the looping "click" sound. You can use Xpadder. Just open it before you fly, and set your throttle up/down buttons as the proper keyboard command for throttle. You can save those two buttons as a profile for your controller/joystick and then all you will have to do in the future is open it up. http://sourceforge.net/projects/xpadder/ Basically the program just takes joystick/gamepad inputs and fakes them to the system as keyboard/mouse commands.
