  1. Lock on doesn't allow two joysticks on one controller, I think. In the previous version this was default and you just set the TDS to mouse control IN GAME. It used "Saitek magic mouse" which may not be in the new beta. I'm not sure, but you should be able to (in the profile editor) tell the ministick to be a mouse. You'll just need to experament. I downloaded the beta before, but went back to the previous version because I'm too lazy to remake my profile, so I only used it for a few hours getting it setup and never checked what all was diffrent from the previous version. Sorry I couldn't be any more help.
  2. If the stick is under warranty, Saitek should be able to send you a completely new stick for return of the broken one. but living in Argentina, Saitek may not want to ship to you. I would suggest giving a friend or family member in the US (or some ware Saitek WILL ship) your proof of purchase, warranty information, etc... and asking them if they will send Saitek your broken stick and then ship you the new one. If it isn't under warranty you could at least try to BUY a replacement part. Be sure to be persistent in trying to get the new part or stick because its like pulling teeth for most businesses. I wish you good luck, these joysticks are not cheap!
  3. I don't know what you mean, can you please explain? Is their any way I can I fix this?
  4. I guess this is a strange problem indeed, here is a picture.
  5. So I got my X52 pro today and have almost finished a basic lock on profile for it. I am thrilled with the stick so far but theirs one thing I can't figure out, the MFD is "off center". Example, where the MFD displays your profile title (example "LockOnSU27") the text reads from left to right: kOnSU27 Loc the text starts 3 characters from the right edge of the MFD screen and then continues on the left. Very strange. Driver Version 5.7.0.22 Software Version 4.3.4.17 (Current?) Perhaps this is a known bug with a solution? Please help!
  6. $99!!! OMFG Are they stolen!? You should have told me that before I ordered the X52! Oh well, I can save up 100 bucks in no time. Then I can get the throttle later (or be ghetto and use the X52's throttle).
  7. whats the difference between them? The only difference I can see is the price.
  8. Hitman: Yes, Photoshop. 7rooper: It is sheet polycarbonate (I think its similar to Plexiglas but tougher) brand name Makrolon.
  9. I finished the platforms, heres a pic. It's the same thing on the other side. (The camera flash makes the dust more apparent, If anyone knows how to PS this out I would like to know!)
  10. Ok, I am a little confused, is the base 6.5 x 6.5 or 9 x 9?
  11. These military pilots think the can fly anyware at any speed, scaring women and children, putting themselves and others at risk................. I love it!
  12. Ok, I gotta pick up some plywood and some paint. I have a super technical drawing i made in MS paint.
  13. I Just need to know how far from the very top of the stick to where your trigger finger sits, or the very bottom of the stick to your trigger finger, so the stick is in a natural position for my hand. If the stick was too high I would need to hold my arm up to reach the thumb controls. why don't you hop on the 3rd's TS? or HL
  14. Can you also tell me the height? I need the total height, and (for sizing) from your index finger when holding the stick to the bottom of the base.
  15. Ok, thanks! It's a good thing I asked because thats bigger than I was expecting (about 5 x 5).
  16. I am building some removable platforms that will attach to the left and right arm of my chair, and I need to know the base dimensions (length and width in inches) for the X52 pro, stick and throttle. I am going to buy the X52 pro and Saitek rudder pedals at the end of this month so I'll need something for them to sit on, since my desktop is too high up for a joystick. Thanks!
  17. Thanks for all the compliments Rugg! If any of us ever get the chance I would like to go through the RTB once more since I shot it somewhat to hell. Also, I would really like to do some more training with you guys. What would you think about me joining the 3rd?
  18. I had a great time and learned a whole lot. I will be on the lookout to play with you guys again, for sure!:smartass: Rugg, are you going to post those pics you got when I was flying? I will be on later this afternoon but not very late. (school)
  19. Hitman, I don't need to disable FFB in Lockon. But Thank you for offering to email the "fix" to me. Weta43, could you please define AFM and SFM? Can you also elaborate on the bug or a known workaround? The force feedback effects in Lockon are working fine to the best of my knowledge, I only feel shaking for stalls and high AOA turns (I think a few more effects that I can't think of) and thats it, but this is normal correct? I know lock on doesn't have control surface forces, just centering, and this works fine. Thank you for your support, as I am horrible at explaining things. My computer monitor thanks you as well as I was on the edge of throwing it out of my car window on the freeway if it didn't soon display a solution.
  20. This might be a new one, I have looked all over the Microsoft website but did not find a related problem. Long, detailed version. (FS2004 and FSX) Their is a very noticeable delay from the time I give the controller input to the time I receive force feedback, although the game its self reacts to the input almost immediately (USB 1). This creates problems since I have covered the hand sensor on the joystick so it doesn't "go limp" if I need to use the keyboard, in that if I enter a patch of rough air, the stick will move (delayed) and then try to re-apply the centering forces to the control surfaces. Since their is the delay, it over shoots and does the same thing to correct again (since it is past the center point), Causing the stick to whip back and fourth violently with me franticly trying to grab the handle. Shorter, sort-of detailed. To summarize, when flying straight and level (in any plane [remember were talking about FS2004 and FSX]) if I turn the stick to the left (or right, up and down) the game receives this input almost instantaneously, but the force feedback is not felt until (I would guess) about 0.5 seconds later) Note that I have used this stick with CFS3 and FS2002 on another computer AND FS2004 on another computer after that. In lock on, trim is really screwed up, every other time I am playing(this seems to happen at random), the trim buttons (on keyboard) will either work fine (and trim the plane), or the trim down button will move the actual joystick left, trim up will move the stick right, trim left will move the stick forward and trim right will move the stick back. I am getting really frustrated with all this.
  21. ...... not exactly jets or anything........
  22. Are their any servers with people in them most days that I don't need to be a member of a squadron to play in? Also if so, will I need any other programs (teamspeak?) Thanks! By the way, I will shrink my sig picture soon.
  23. I decided to buy this game about a week ago, wanting a new set of systems to learn (previous experience is about 4 years of MSFS, SH2 and 3, and i got fed up with Dangerous Waters). I must say I am very impressed with the capabilities of these aircraft and how the game represents them. Before now, I never even knew you could get shot out of the sky before even seeing the shooter. Not to mention how fun it is to haul arse down a valley at mach 1.3 in the Su-27!(okay, mabey a little exaggeration their.) :joystick: Anyways, whenever I find a new game with a good online community I like to say thanks by contributing something. I looked and looked but it seems theirs no easy way to learn specifications on individual aircraft, weapons, etc. quickly, so I thought "hmmm... FLASHCARDS!". I have made a template on MS Powerpoint that can be used for the cards. The cards will be aprox. the height and width of a playing cards, with all the most important info on them (wingspan, max speed, armement, etc.). it took me about a half hour to fill out just the Su-25's card (with inaccuracy's I'll bet) so this is a cry for help!:helpsmilie: The cards will be printed dual sided (print, flip paper, print again) and will have important specs, country and a picture, on one side. The other side will have the name of the plane and a short blurb. with this system you can match a planes name to its picture, name to its specs, specs to its picture and all kinds of combinations. anyone helping can modify the layout or content to their liking and I want everyone to provide their own input (please remember the size of the cards, thus, font sizes.) Once all the planes are finished we can get started on weapons, ground vehicles, airport info, whatever. I know their are reference cards out their some ware but flash cards are just as good and can also help newbies (like me) remember everything. Let me know if you want to help, you will need MS Powerpoint and I want all information to be accurate (to the game). Don't forget to add your two cents because I need about $3000.00 USD (I hope that last statement didn't confuse anyone, ask your neighbor).:book:
