Is there enough difference to dismiss an used tracker 4 for 40.00 and paying 140 for a new 5? The used comes with both clips and the 5 only has the hat clip.

My only issue with amazon is I have to pay tax. If I buy from Newegg then I dont pay tak, but I will have to think about it. Tax in Tx is around 9%. I am trying to use the logitech 3d now and it is a pain as not enough buttons.

That's awesome. I am where you started. I have a Logitech 3d and the free DVD world. Trying to save up for the x55 and tracker. All my money is going towards that. I would love fc3 and other modules, but they have to Waite till I get a better stick and throttle.

Yes I have a Logitech 3d joystick with the twist currently. It does not have enough buttons so I have only used the tutorial for takeoff standard flight a d landing. I was planning on purchasing a powered USB3.0 hub as I needed it because I am out of ports. I will also try and find some silicon grease or other plastic lube.

I can't get all 3 right now, so which would be the best purchase? X55 and combat rudder pedals or X55 and track ir It would be 30 to 60 days till I could get the other.

I need the multiple monitors for other things. A 40+ will not work and 4k for desktops are just not there yet. The sweet spot right now is 1440p for multiple monitors and a resolution of 7680x1440 is pretty sweet.

I have decided to get away from FPS games and get back into flight sims as well as driving sims. It will be a long process to get all the equipment as it is quite expensive. First question is the controllers I eventually plan on using. First I think I will be going with the saitek x55. This will give me a good startup till I can get some pedals. Whats everyone experience with this stick and throttle set? Next are the pedals. Originally I was looking at the Saitek pro flight combat pedals and then discovered the MFG. The MFG are about double the price of the saitek. Are they really that much better? Next is monitor setup. I was originally going to go with 3 27" 2560x1440 monitors with track IR. Then I discovered the Oculus rift. How is the technology on these? Would it be better to have the three monitors or just a single monitor and the rift 2? Thanks for the input.
