Saving Route Plans in ABRIS Database

Hi there ! I went to my "missions" folder i saw my mission under Maio.MIDI extention, i opened it by selecting "open with" and then chosing winzip, and i finaly discovered that inside of it were 2 files: 1- mission 2- options Ummmm i think i missed something here .... maybe there were no flight plan saved ? What should be the name of the file associated to my mission file and that determines the flight plan routes that i saved in the ABRIS? When i send the file to my MP players should they place it as it is in the "missions" folder, or they should unizip it there ? Thank you -
Hello ! I did RTFM and still have a problem ! I would like to create a multiplayer mission, Create 2 client helicopters and on one of these helicopters create a flight plan route with 5 waypoints,and the second one will remain with no flight plan, that's because i was thinking of saving time by not repeating the same flight plan route for several client helicopters and by sending a somekind of a "script file" to my MP flight mates so they can see also my ABRIS flight plan route on their ABRIS. I started the mission in single player mode, entered the KA-50 cockpit and did exactly what the manual says in the 3rd chapter on page 38. I saved my flight plan route into my hard disk as the Manual says: "3-23: To save ROUTE This saves all flight routes to a script file that will be associated with the mission. Next time you start this mission you will be able to load the flight plan using the ABRIS PLAN page." it also say that :"you can also save a route plan into the ABRIS permanent database (i.e. your hard drive)." but unfortunatly when i go out and go back in the mission the flight plan doesnt exist anymore ! Also when i click on "NAVIGATION DATA" and than "SAVE", the date still the old date , wich in my case is 06-01-2009 instead of 21-01-2009 that i changed in the setup of the ABRIS. I didnt understand where the script file will be in my hard disk and what will be its name !!!!!!!!!!! It says: "associated with the mission" but in the mission folder of BS there's no script file that has something to do with my mission file. PS: When i entered the cockpit and turned on the ABRIS i also saved my flight plan route by doing so: clicking on "PLAN" than "Select" than "SAVE" and than named it .

You are definitely right :) thats no realistic at all i keep ED one's for sure and i certainly dont find that they have something wrong

Okay i have windows XP and X52 Pro as well as DCS . The problem im having is that i have a working MFD i see my DCS profile, when i click on the joy buttons i see on the MFD for example Gear down gear up message, but..... the functions are not being processed by DCS, as the collective and cyclic controls are working perfectly on the joystick .... No button works with the software. I looked in my task manager for SaiDOutput but it doesnt exist ! any idea ?

Hey ;) I would like to thank you for your honest comments,that realy helps me carry on stronger than before, i am planing to make a serie of small movies about ADI's and will provide to perform better and better next time. Nobody knows ! maybe someday we will team up for a big LOMAC movie , how's that ? :) -

Hello ! Im making a mod where i have an Italian coalition with all its crew... I wanted to add an aircraft carrier that could launch the SU-33 like the Admiral, but the only problem is that i could have only one ship in the same missiom , or the russian one or the coalition one i added wich have the same CLISD ID as the Admiral but a diffrent name like for example CAVOUR ! Do you have an idea about how to dupplicat the Admiral and use both of the aircraftcarrier's type in the same time ?

Thanks guys for your help ! the only thing is that i did exactly what you instructed me to do and when i tried to view it in ModelViewer the model appeared perfectly ! when i choose the cafe inside lock on it appears to be invisible ! In 3ds i used default material assignment i didnt use nothing special after that i exported in LOM format and that's it ... Anything familiar for you guys ?

Thank you Mate ! i tried that and it works ! Only thing is : how can i disable the alpha channel ? do i have to do that when i save the file (using PS offcourse) ? like there's an option that makes you unmark alpha channel ! Is it possibile to keep the numbers for the Israely coalition? Thanks again for all the help you provided me

Hello all ! I am trying to get rid of the numbers and paches that the F-15C has in LOCK ON ! so as i read, they say to make a blank .tga file and replace TACTNUMBERS-USAF-BLACK.tga after that i would see no trace of the numbers on the aircraft ! Well i opened the original TACTNUMBERS-USAF-BLACK.tga i created a new file using photoshop CS2 with 1024x128 pix dimension and blank file. I replaced TACTNUMBERS-USAF-BLACK.tga with the one i created and than i droped it inside the TempTexture file . When i went to see the result , i was furious because a grey rectangle could be seen on the tail of the aircraft !:doh: HOW CAN I SAVE CORRECTLY THE BLANK FILE TO AVOID THIS RESULT ?
