  1. Loving this mod and really appreciating the time put into it. I'm having issues with shadows on the aircraft and in the cockpit flickering. Not having the issue with any other aircraft. Anyone have any ideas?
  2. Hi, could you send me the links also? Thanks very much!
  3. Hi, since updating to 2.5.4 I can no longer open any mission. It opens to mission editor fine, loads up the mission and then crashes to desktop at the moment I'd expect to jump into the cockpit. At first deleting the FlamingCliffs3 folder from my mods folder seemed to fix it but now it crashes no matter what. I've cleared out all unnoffical mods so there can't be a conflict there. I've tried to enclose the dcs.log and .crash files but for some reason the uploader is telling me they are invalid files. Any help would be really appreciated!
  4. Thanks for the suggestions. I've got a new ps2 cable on the way so I'll try that first (suspicious about inputs on the throttle sliders affecting the issue, if they are all at 100% the stick becomes totally unusable) and if that fails I'll try the magnet mod. By changing the dead zones and removing the outer most area of deflection (does that make sense?) I have made the stick usable, but not perfect. Still get the odd random pitch down without input when trying to land.
  5. Hi all I don't know how to explain this properly so bear with me. My Saitek X52 has suddenly developed a glitch where if I move the physical stick the 'virtual stick' does not follow it properly. Hard to explain but if I look down in the cockpit and move my stick to the right, the stick on screen also moves right but then jerks around and the deflection keeps changing even though I have my stick hard right. Sometimes it stays stuck for a moment deflected right when the real stick is then centred. This happens in all games and I can see it on the stick properties as well. Whats weird is that the problem is a lot worse if any of the throttle stick sliders or wheels are not all set to 0. I've treid unplugging and cleaning the ps2 cable and ports, i've tried plugging the stick into different USB ports and I've unplugged all other game controllers as I've had conflicts in the past, none of it works. Is there anything I can do or is the stick dead? Thanks for any help!
  6. Sorry for being stupid, could someone explain to me exactly which shape and texture files need to be copied from where to where to make this work please?
  7. I uninstalled all the mods and ran the repair program, it now works! Thanks very much for the suggestion, I'll remember it before updating in future! Thanks again!
  8. No, I've uninstalled and re installed the Ka-50 module to no effect, should I uninstall all 'unofficial' mods and re update?
  9. Hi, thanks for the help, enclosed is the info you asked for. DxDiag.txt Logs.rar
  10. Hi, sorry if this has been covered already and I didn't look hard enough. I'm having a problem since a couple of updates ago on DCS 2 where it crashes to desktop every time I try to fly the Ka-50. It only does this if I am the pilot, I can still load with AI Ka-50's and reverting to a previous game version resolves the issue, though I then loose everything in the updates. I am not having the problem with DCS 1.5, it's working fine, only DCS 2. It gets about 75% through the loading screen and then crashes. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
  11. Thanks for the passive aggressive reply. I won't bother asking the community in future incase I happen to miss something already posted and cause such grave offense. (aimed at TomCatMucDe, Scooternuts your reply was much nicer :) )
  12. I was not getting reduced FPS will- , having the pod on the pylon and having the MFD active have no appreciable effect on my FPS, it was simply causing this stuttering every 10-15 seconds. I moved the game onto a SSD and also happened to be upgrading my processor anyway, one of those two fixed the problem. Just thought it was an odd one as I still don't get why having an inactive pod on the wing would cause performance problems.
  13. Hi there, I've got the gazelle working fine in DCS 2 but DCS 1.5 can't find it. It does not appear in the incame module manager and I can't install it through the command window either via DCS_updater. It just claims it's an unknown module. (I've tried turning my antivirus off) I have updated 1.5 to the latest version and run repair to no avail.

It's really weird, it makes no difference if the litening pod is active or not, just hanging it on the pylon causes the stuttering.
  15. Every time I have a litening pod equiped I am getting stutter/lag of a few seconds every 10-15 seconds. This is regardless of wether the pod is active and displaying imagery on the MFD and what view I'm in. Activating the pod causing no impact on the lag or FPS. Having a maverick seaker active causes a similar problem though not so bad, however in that case it's only when the seaker is active, having a maverick on the pylon does not cause the lag. Has anyone else encountered this and know a soloution?
