  1. Hi,

In FWD AREA or PHS AREA mode, I couldn't autonomously detect any vehicle nearby.

What form should Gerorge use to draw attention to the new units with text or sound messages?

If I specify where the AI should focus, the list of targets works correctly.

Does anyone please have a short track record to explain the function, thank you?

    Edit:

So I guess I guess what's wrong, the search itself is time-conditioned?

Thus, the AI must still be encouraged to search every few seconds.

At first glance, such a new feature seems completely unnecessary to me.

Additionally, George is unable to hit the target while using the Hellfire laser!

  2. Okay, in this state of George, it was my fault, but in reality, a gunner who has a better ability to recognize a target than a commander will not shoot at a friendly unit, even though historically in reality such a failure has happened.

Certainly many pilots would like an intelligent revision of the free fire mode.

  3. Hi,

I accidentally left Free Fire mode on and marked a friend in the squadron after completing the mission.

It happened that George started shooting without hesitation, fortunately I use short gun bursts and so my friend could make an emergency landing.

It was my fault, but I think George should have a moral code and shouldn't have been able to shoot at friendly machines.

  4. Hi,

I didn't have a problem with the previous FM, when there was a revision there is still no difference in weight.

I've flown over 1k flight hours with the original fm Apache, and it's a pain when I return empty at snail's pace over a distance of 120 km home.

I don't feel the weight of the machine, still poor acceleration and speed limits just don't suit me.

Paradoxically Apache is my favorite machine in dcs.

I wonder what kind of movement you were expecting? The corrections, especially in hovering, should be minute. The stick length is roughly comparable to real world helicopters (probably on the short side). You don‘t yank the stick around like in fixed wing. When the need to do so appears, you‘re probably doing stunt flying or are already in an upset attitude.

    Watch this one e.g.

The funny thing with helicopters and FFB is, in my opinion, they are the least demanding (in regards to power) but benefit the most (in regards to realism) from FFB.

In the early stages of development, the OH-6 was a wild boar that did whatever it wanted.

The latest version 1.5 is tame to control, like a sleeping kitten. 😀

Hi, I need your help connecting everything together. I made a collective based on the Kiowa model, I connected one axis. Now I would like to connect all the switches and Hats but I don't know how to connect everything to the Pro Micro board.

    Hi,

according to the diagram, each button is a diode, when connecting 5 switches per channel, you only have one button left, so you can no longer connect the two lever switches.

    Edit:

I recalculated, you only need 31 buttons and the maximum is 36, it will work out great.

How difficult you think it is for a total dummy on electronics? emoji16.png
Referring to the resistor mod. I'm starting to do some research but I'm still unsure of my chances to do It without destroying my equipment.

Without previous soldering experience you will find it difficult.

There is evidence that even a complete beginner will eventually succeed after practicing soldering on a practice board for a while.

Or you'd better have it powered by a pro in the area.
