The light on the caution panel will turn off if EAC is successfully turned on. Regardless of the switch position :)

It is confirmed that the "middle" keystroke is not being sent on 3 state switches. This will be fixed in the next release :) As far as I could tell, the LASTE doesn't need any Data Import Events since its 3 switches and 1 button. If there are any events that might be needed let me know, I'll add them for next release as well.

Worth mentioning that you should run HawgTouch in Administrator mode to prevent any keypress sending issues.

It is indeed possible, through UDP, to send commands to the server which will trigger an action in the cockpit without any "key" binding. I intend to include such feature in one of the next iterations of HawgTouch. It requires mapping the entire cockpit and extensive testing. So I keep it for later on when we get more people using the software and finding issues :)

Hey. I will be off for two days for holiday so I cant really help much. I have a winxp machine which i will test on when i return. Im sure some other people here might come up with a solution :)

Some updates: I have completed the netcode for HawgTouch new mode. Server Mode. In HawgTouch 1.5, an extended network overhaul has been made to support multiple HawgTouch clients to interact and receive data over the network. The new server mode allows you to specify a list of clients you want it to send the data to. All the exported data from the sim will be sent to all the specified clients. The server mode launches a small monitor window that will allow you to see incoming and outgoing traffic and also show you the list of clients the server sends data to. You can now load a profile in 2 methods. Either "Local" or "Remote". Local mode will launch the profile on the machine, receive exported data and send keystrokes to the game. Remote mode is needed if you want to load a profile on a remote machine while the main machine (where A-10C is running) is running HawgTouch in a server mode. This allows for complete offloading of the profile from the main machine. HawgTouch running in Server mode on the game machine consumes only 8MB of memory and a fraction of CPU. Linking HawgTouch remote profiles (as many as you want) is becoming easy! An extended NOTEPAD control now supports user defined PDF's and customizable size. Last feature that will be implemented before release is the ILS/TACAN repeater gauges! HawgTouch 1.5 coming veeeeeeeeery soon :)

I have found a way to allow PDF's to be loaded into HawgTouch without affecting the CPU at all. In the next version I will "expand" the NOTEPAD feature. A functionality will be added to load PDF's into a designated HawgTouch window. You will be able to load multiple PDF's aswell if you desire :) Also coming in the next version is remote keystrokes feature. With the addition of highly detailed gauges HawgTouch became a slightly heavier. You can offload gauges to a second PC right now but you loose all interactive switches which utilize data export. So in the next version you will be able to send keys to the main HawgTouch instance (where A-10 is running) and relay these keys to the game.

As promised, here's the profile I'm currently using: If you want to use it you will have to have the same setup as me (main monitor at 1920x1080 and a 2nd monitor at 1680x1050 CDProfile.zip

There is a way of doing it by converting the diagrams into pictures and creating multiple panels. Pretty straight forward, if need a short guide can be written :)

You will have to edit the profile XML files and copy over the "Control" to your profile. If it gets too complicated let me know, I'll throw a profile together for you :)

To export your MFCDs. Go to this post: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=69555 Its the first HawgTouch thread. First post explains thoroughly how to export MFCDs to external monitor. Then, Download HT 1.4. Load it up and select the ShowcaseProfile. Load that and hit the 2nd tab (MFCDs + UFC). That should do it! You will have to also set up your keys. Instructions can be found at the thread link I posted above!

Awesome! Glad to see you made a Caution Panel. Nu NRG and MadTommy are working on their own aswell. But post up your profile for us :D I have fixed the engine gauge panel in 1.4. Load up 1.3 Features and you will see 2 tabs. Flight Instruments and Engine Instruments Enjoy!

I have never ruled out the possibility of working together. I think Helios changing the licensing model is a great thing and once the SDK and all the kits come out we'll see how things go :)

Are you running the beta of A-10?

It is reported by several users of both Helios and HawgTouch that exporting the MFCD's to an external monitor (game settings) will result in a big FPS hit. To minimize the damage it is vital you run Windows in Aero theme.

Of course it is possible. You will have to copy the <Buttons> section from from the ShowcaseProfile UFC tab and paste it in the 1.3 Gauges tab in the 1.3 Features profile. Take a look at how the XML is structures. I'll create a quick profile shortly to demonstrate!

That looks extremely odd. I'm trying to think of a cause and I just can't. Do you mind posting your full system spec/OS and a dxdiag dump?

Hmmm... Right click the DLL -> Properties and see if there is an Unlock option. Also, I suggest trying to download both x86 and x64 versions and trying them on C:\HT64 and C:\HT86 independently just to minimize the error margin if we are dealing with a phantom bug or something :)

That's your problem right there :) Make sure that in the root folder of HawgTouch, there is a file called HawgTouch.GaugePack.dll Run HawgTouch as Administrator and it should have all the permissions to load the pack. If the DLL is not at the same folder of the .EXE file the pack won't be loaded and the gauges won't be drawn. If the file is in the folder but it's still not loading, Check your file permissions in that specific folder and see if there are sufficient permissions.
