I believe this is what you are looking for? Guessing you could change the paths to your liking. But having the DCS Save games paths makes sense.

I had this problem to solve when helping someone else out. Adding {"Pilot_F16_FP_Map", 0, "mfd3", true}; to the description.lua file, should fix this problem if you would like to try the cockpit overhaul again :)
