  1. Sooo I don't know why my post is marked as the solution. The issue is definitely not solved lol
  2. I've encountered the same bug. Timestamp 47:25 you can see me staring to notice something is wrong. I then get distracted by a spike and continue troubleshooting at 53:30. The conclusion is that in air to ground master mode TGP only slews to markpoints, but bugs out when asked to slew to steerpoints. Everything works fine in NAV master mode.
  3. It should be prevented because the airfield is controlled by an ATC, it's not the wild west lmao If ATC clears me to land that means the runway is clear, and that should definately not be a "ha gotcha" moment. I did see the eagle on time and managed to fly over it and land normally, but it was actually surprisingly difficult to see as the livery matched the runway in those lightning conditions. Anyways, I'm gonna say again I know DCS AI and ATC leaves a lot to be desired and everything has to be stiched together with a bunch of scripting and you can't prevent or predict every single outcome, but adding a trigger and a voiceline to the ATC could fix this: If F15s are in a trigger zone and have not crossed the runway ATC tells you to hold in pattern When they've crossed ATC continues as normal. Maybe it's not as simple but I really don't think "skill issue" is the correct reply lol
  4. Basically right as I was about to touch down one of the F-15s decided to cross the runway. I know that this is a DCS thing, but I'm hoping some kind of trigger / safeguard could be implemented to prevent this. Maybe the odds of this happening are 1 in a million, so I guess I'm just unlucky as that xD It would suck loosing a 2 hour mission to run into an AI jet on the runway. https://youtu.be/dIdJzmmrxhg?si=i5qWGdvhKsGo2eoo&t=8351 (timestamp 02:19:15)
  5. Oh, huh interesting. At the moment we got tasked they were the only group on datalink, and I only saw the second group pop up when I activated that "30 miles" trigger. Obviously datalink isn't prefect and there could be many number of reasons why I couldn't see them, hell could have been a classic tunnel vision issue....but in that moment I was sure I was looking at the right (and only) group. Quite interesting.
  6. Hello! So to get to the point: I engaged and splashed both flankers, and then got vectored onto the 4 frogfoots. While intercepting them I must have missed a trigger point and engaged and killed all 4 of them, without any callouts or Roach engaging. After that engagement I turned around back to the CAP box and then a trigger fired which activated the "30 miles, master arm on" (or something like that) from Utah. Then those frogfoots respawned and started their attacks. We then went in and Roach also engaged and we killed all 4 of them again. Triggers then continued and we got tasked to refuel but at this point I was winchester and called the mission. I wanted to attach a video but forgot to press record . I guess it's a good thing that the mission broke otherwise I would be pissed... I am attaching the track file though: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ccvOZJkJvw3f9sxYgUIRFX1du_EFZYHG/view?usp=sharing
  7. Hello everyone! I'll be doing a full campaign play-through on my YouTube channel so join me and feel free to comment any thoughts or suggestions as I inevitably mess up. Also, as you will see in the opening shot of the campaign, the Finnair livery appears to be missing. However I've checked my campaign folder and it is definitely there. What gives? 8. So as an actual IRL JTAC here is my take: I agree with you as in training you are always taught that it is you're responsibility to make sure the aircraft your controlling are outside any threat bubbles. The only exception is if the threat is suppressed (by direct or indirect fires). Of course in real life situations there can be a situation where you are willingly taking risks but in that case the aircrew needs to understand the situation and be in agreement with you. And i don't see many pilots being ready to put themselves into such a situation where even ejecting would most likely lead to a pretty horrible death by the hands of extremists (such as was the case of the Jordanian pilot). Especially when there's no friendlies in danger on the ground. In this particular mission it's pretty clear that it's a trap (insert meme here). So your task is to ensure that nothing is lying in wait to shoot down the A-10s, but I don't see a reason why the attacking A-10s had to be so low. Just cluster bomb them to <profanity> and go home. The target is not that valuable to be risking airframes so you can do gun runs. Then again, apperently the entire campaign is based on real events so... I definately agree that it was frustrating, especially wasting hours doing the entire flight all over again. A minor thing that I mention in the video that could help is if your wingman would actually give you a direction to break in, as you do not have the time to spot the missile and react accordingly. Knowing where to break would increase your chances of survival. But again it is a dice roll, and a mission should not be designed in a way that has a chance of punishing you even if you did everything right. On a positive note, this is the only mission in the campaign that is like this and the rest area really good! You should definitely skip this one and continue with the rest!
  9. Hello everyone! Here's my experience with mission 10, it took me five attempts but got there in the end Also Suspect really did live up to his nickname on landing causing me to almost crash. Anyways, it's been a fun campaign so far, can't wait for the finale. https://youtu.be/7ihLNJxpJx4?si=1tMMXbvLKVTI84pA
  10. If anyone is interested in how the first 4 missions went, take a look at my stream playlist here: Under The North Star | 331 Squadron (F-16s) I've never streamed nor posted videos on youtube until now, so every video gets better and better as I learn. New video every other weekend!
  11. I don't know if I'm so used to the old setting, but after turning it off the viper felt too snappy and nervous. Maybe I need to mess around with deadzone and curves but I had to turn the FLCS setting back on. I'm using my trusty old T16000m which might be showing it's age by now, but it seems like the built in deadzone worked for me. I'll try messing around with the settings and report back.
  12. Hey guys, I have the same issue. Attacked the target, both trucks blew up roughly 30 seconds after CBU impact, mortars and infantry are dead as can be, but a bit later wingman calls no joy, attempts to attack but doesn't release his GBUs. Easy comms are off, checked it right after the mission.
