I took off and headed to Batumi before going east. I crossed waypoint 2 at around 0813. The blue air-to-air managed to shoot down most of the escorts (only Mig 21s and SU-24s remained) so I was able to shoot down two SU-24s in the target area and then ran down three more on their way to Beslan for a total of 5 kills. All but one of the red air were destroyed and my wingman survived. I landed at Batumi, refueled and took-off for Kutaisi and landed again. Still scored zero for mission success. I don't know how much more "Successful" I needed to be to win. No ideas.

In real aircraft one solution to nosewheel shimmy is to apply some forward stick until it's time to rotate. For the F-15 in DCS, I keep the stick neutral until about 150 KCAS and then rotate to about 10 degrees and wait until lift-off. Don't force the jet off the runway or you might stall. Also, make small steering corrections-don't over correct minor deviations.

After playing 2 of the A-10A campaign missions in FC-3 I've noticed that after dropping the 1st CBU-97 that one or more continuous explosions occur that never go away. The problem is that whenever I am "looking" in their general direction, the frame rate slows drastically making the game almost un-playable. Is there a fix for this? I'm running an i7 950 CPU with 6GB of memory and an Nvidia GTX 580. I also notice a huge number of "Target 0" being displayed in the results screen after the mission is over.

Trouble locking up Mavericks I modified the weapons loadout to 6 AGMs and 5 CBU-97s. I too could not get a decent lock (tried both D and H models) on any of the 3 target MBTs in mission 1 of the campaign. I gave up and used a couple of CBU-97s in CCRP mode to do the trick. This gave me the "mission success" response after which I continued in the target area for more tank plinking with my six mavericks.

I've flown mission 8 several times (Command and Control Strike) and managed to shoot down all six Russian jets but the strikers (F-15Es) only drop one GBU on each target and don't destroy it. They don't re-attack even though they still have ordnance remaining. What am I missing?
