Any update Shahdoh?

So I downloaded the Open Beta version as well as the regular version because of who I fly with at times requires a different version of DCS. I've been using DCS for weeks with no issues with the F-15C, but since downloading Open Beta I've noticed a couple of things.... a) all of my commands are set up identically to the regular version, but when I try to taxi it won't go anywhere (like the brakes are locked on, but I know I have them mapped correctly) b) the download speed is much slower... I'm wondering if this is because I now have two DCS Worlds downloaded on the same computer???? Anyone have any issues with this??

That is extremely disappointing... does anyone know of any other good servers to practice formation flying etc? I'm working on starting a new Squadron with a couple friends soon and if anyone reading this is interested please PM me ASAP... We will be doing a lot of formation work, weapons training, and workups similar to real life USAF and USN Squadrons. I'll post in the squadron directory when I have it going, but if anyone wants to get some info PM me for details... Mike "Wheels"

Anyone know what happened to the Virtual Aerobatic server tonight? Couldn't find it at all this evening....

So, when I am in some of the servers I see the F/A-18C as an option to fly. However, on the website I don't see the module out yet..... I know they were working on the mod for the Hornet, but I'm curious why it is available to some, but not available to purchase??? Been looking for the answer on the website, and all over the forum with no results.... Thanks!!

Which zoom key would I use? In my options there seem to be a lot of different zoom options...

Is there a way to increase the size of the font letters and numbers on the HUD??? I can't find anything or any buttons that increase the size of it. I looked on the forum for the answer but couldn't find anything. Thanks guys!

Sounds good... went on last night and teamspeak was better because we used our own group in the virtual aerobatic server lol

I actually did that last night and had a good time... only problem was there was about 4 people on the Virtual Aerobatics Teamspeak server that were playing some kind of ground warfare game, which was not supposed to be happening and a little frustrating. Tough to fly formations when you have to communicate via typing in chat lol

Hey guys, I need to get some formation flying practice in at least 4-5 nights a week (if not more) over the next 60 days.... Is anyone out here willing to help out? Lion I went through the steps in that Sticky thread, and I had the same response. King... According to all of the axis calibration, the dot is top left corner like it is supposed to be and the rudder dot is in the middle (the vertical axis or whatever it would be called). I am flying the F-15C at the moment, so no right rudder necessary on takeoff like say the P-51... What control axes do you have assigned? I deleted and reassigned the axis to the right and left toe brake for the X and Y axis... and the Z axis I think is what I assigned as the rudder.... According to instructions that is what it is supposed to be set as....

I've been trying to calibrate these pedals for over a week now. I've followed all the directions on this website, their website, and used CH's calibration as well as my PC and game calibration. Still when I try to fly with the rudder pedals the plane won't even get off the ground and it is FRUSTRATING!!! Trying not to use a lot of 4 letter words here. The plane just yaws left uncontrollably and no matter what I do with the pedals it still does it. I've tried the Axis Tune, and that doesn't work because in order for it to work I have to give full right rudder to have the dead zone centered. I've tried calibrating it that way so it would "center" out, but that didn't work either. Can someone PLEASE help me?????

Guys, I just finally got DCS World downloaded and I've been getting a black screen with a white box. I can hear the music playing, but there are no options to click anything in the game. I have to hit CTRL+ALT+DEL in order to close down the game. Can anyone help me with this??? Mike

When is DCS2.0 supposed to come out?? Also, I saw some people have F/A-18 Hornets in DCS, but I don't see that as an option at all. How did they get those?? I'm planning on building an F/A-18 pit, and I'd love to see an F/A-18 come out. I ended up getting a new desktop for a decent deal... Got this.... Dell OptiPlex 960 Desktop PC - Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.16GHz, 4GB DDR2 Memory, 250GB HDD, DVD, Windows 7... I'm gonna install a custom video and sound card and put more RAM in it when it comes in on Monday. I'm gonna just use it for DCS World and FSX

Guys, I am looking to get a new computer to use specifically for DCS World and my other flight sim games. What setups do you guys use? I want to get something good, but don't want to spend an arm and a leg either. Building an F/A-18 simpit also, so I'd like to have some left for that LOL Mike

Guys here is the message I am getting when trying to download it to the computer... "The source file is corrupted" I have the download from the website.

Guys, I downloaded all of the required documents for DCS World to my computer. However when I try to download it from the application it continues to say that the file is corrupt and will not allow me to download it. Has anyone else had this issue and how to correct it? Sorry if this was already posted... in a rush typing this in before my 5 month old son wakes up wanting to eat LOL Mike
