Flappie's post in DCS 2.8 requires reboot? was marked as the answer
Because a C++ redistributable got updated. That is normal. Look into the "redist" folder of the game core files, you'll find an exe from October 2022.

OK, then my advice is to follow this guide to manually set your pagefile to 32 GB. In case you have more than one drive, ensure the pagefile is stored on your SSD, then use these values:
initial size: 32768 max size: 32768 -

Flappie's post in How to make the 530 IR track ? was marked as the answer
It should not be: the R530 IR missile was "limited" all-aspect, which means it was not able to lock a target going straight on you, but it was able to lock from the sides.
The R550 Magic 1 was strictly rear-aspect. The next update will change current behaviour for both missiles to better reflect reality.
It will look like this:

Flappie's post in S_EVENT_LAND behaviour. was marked as the answer
Thank you both very much. This looks like a bug indeed, since only a few aircraft are affected:
Su-27 Su-33 A-10A F-15C MiG-29 I could not reproduce the bug when I landed on a neutral airbase: S_EVENT_LAND triggered as expected.
For some reason, Su-25"A" is not affected.
Issue reported. 👍

You don't need to tell it to orbit. The FAC task implies the drone will orbit anyway. Simply remove the Orbit task and let the drone do its job. 😉
