  1. Thanks, Viper! This worked. I deleted the entire campaign folder and ran the repair. Once I turn my radio on, the "other" option appears and works.
  2. This is definitely the Epsom campaign. I went back to mission 1 and the other menu is missing from there also. Strangely, I remember the other menu being there when I completed that mission prior to the last update.
  3. I tried repairing DCS a couple of times with no success either. Any other suggestions? I am really itching to play this campaign in its full glory!
  4. I have tried it both ways with no success. Screenshot of my comms menu:
  5. I ran the mission again, but still didn't have the "other" menu. I tried going through the motions all the way through flying south of the field and it never showed up. Also I tried disabling all mods with no luck.
  6. Not that I know of. Always a chance that I did accidentally, but I know I had the second flight during the mission. I will double check. Also, I was running this mission directly from the mission section and not through the campaign.
  7. I tried mission 2 today and noticed there was no "other" option in the comms menu, even after takeoff. I had the radio on "D" and nothing. I swear I had it on mission 1 before taking the 2.2 update. Currently running version 2.2.0.12448.295
  8. That worked! Thank you! Was their radar active as confirmed by the RWR?
  9. When I have sidearms loaded they show up on my stores page on the wing, but do not show up on an obs button for me to select on the stores or RWR pages. What am I missing?

    VTO Issue

That was it. Now I feel like a goober. Thank you!

    VTO Issue

I cannot get the Harrier to lift-off in VTO configuration. At full throttle (confirmed on engine MFCD page), the weight comes off of the landing gear but it never comes off the ground. I have tried it clean and with armaments. Flaps in STOL mode at confirmed down. I have tried nozzle settings between 80-90 degrees, water injection off, TO, & landing mode...nothing. What am I missing.
  12. Deleting the settings.lua file fixed it. Thank you! Now, I must get to practicing!
  13. I have been out of the loop for a while so I took a bunch of updates pretty much all at once in 1.5. I also recently installed the F5E and GNS430 modules. When I click the mission link, I get hung up at the loading screen and my cursor picks up the pin wheel, but the screen never loads. I have waiting up to 10 minutes with no luck. I disabled all mods through JSGME and ran the repair twice. I also updated my video and sound drivers with no luck. Any tips?
  14. Just completed the campaign this afternoon. Also being very new to A-A, I thought this was a good pace, but a tad on the easy side. I know you said you were working with others to improve the balance with that for the future. I REALLY like this format of OJT-like structure. It helps me retain information when I actually have to use it in practice. I wish there was a campaign like this for other modules to really get me in the weeds of the A/C. Will the A-10C campaign be similar? I enjoyed the the thorough briefing material, especially the plates on the kneeboard. I agree with others that some of the missions seemed to end too quickly once the action started. On the other hand, the 8+ minute start-up time and limited payload plays into that as well, I'm sure. I simply cannot wait until the M2K (didn't know about that one until the above post) & A10C Nevada Campaigns are available. I will be buying day one for sure!
  15. So I tried again today with the alternate mission file and it worked! First time on a fresh boot of DCS. I have no explanation as I didn't change anything else. Thank you!
