  1. Hello fellow sim pilots... After update 2.5.6.57530 ive been having issues with stutters, frame drops and slow loading of cockpits in DCS. Before that update it was working just fine. I didn't change any GPU drivers before the update, and initially didn't change them after the update either. And when i did, it didn't really matter. The stutters, frame drops and slow loading of cockpits were still there. Normally when i have stutters it usually means its not synced with the screen, so then by pressing Lalt + Enter to go from full screen to windowed and back you can fix those stutters, and you are good to go. But after update (.57530) that doesn't work anymore, it actually only seems to make it worse. My normal fps is about 70 average with stutters after the update, wich is the same as before the update (without stutters). But by pressing Lalt + Enter and going into windowed mode it still runs about 70 fps with stutters, and by pressing again, it runs around 100 fps in full screen mode with stutters and frame drops. This stuttering also seems to be much more noticeable in MP as apposed to SP. Also what i noticed is when the frame drop occures, is that it drops from my average 70 to about 30 fps, and stays there for a while, and slowly climbs back up to around 70 fps, and the cycle starts again. This cycle seems to repeat every couple of minutes or so. The fps also seems to be more erractic than usual, it jumps between the span of about 50 to 90 fps, which feels similar to the sim not being synced with the screen. I honestly doubt its my graphics settings, because in MP i'm running relatively low settings to get the higher fps for smoother performance, and changing settings didn't seem to do anything to resolve this. Also turning HAGS of/on didn't help either, this doesn't seem to be the issue. I'm also not running VR, i'm running Track IR 5. I was hoping that this weeks update (2.5.6.57949) would fix these issues, but they still persist. If anybody has some ideas on how to possibly solve this, please let me know. Thanks.
  2. Ah, it seems i`m not the only one with this issue, it feels like the overal performance is a bit less than before hotfix 57530.
  3. After the recent update i was pretty exited to hear what they did with new sound, but it still sounds like a high rpm inline/v engine. it does sound a little better though, but not near as grunty as the real thing. But maybe in the future they will give it the grunt it deserves. Cheers,
  4. I wonder if they will ad this pre-purchase to steam before release, but then again we will just have to see if it even makes it to steam, since we were still waitong for the C-101. Cheers.
