  1. Ok. I think I found the problem. It was about aspect ratio, which was quite weird (1.77777778 ) and I wasn't able to change it (because then DCS crashes) After some try I discover, that after the another crash fianaly aspect ratio was changed somehow to 16:10 and from then everything runs smoother and got nicer fps. Now I got my CPU overclocked to 4.4 (from 3.5) and tonite will test it longer about temperature and stability. GPU will be next to tune. As a reference situation to measure the fps I use from "Instant action" the Mig-21bis take off. Now when on the ground before take off run (with Mi-24's aside) and looking directly fwd i got ~24-27fps. Budy of mine with the same GTX970 but Intel CPU's got around the same numbers (~29-34). After take off fps go over 90-110 and are pretty stable at maxed settings.
  2. Ok Guys, tommorow I come with artillery and bring someone who knows computer hardware and software better than I do. BIG Thx for all Your advice, DDU is downloaded and waitin' for use. Tommorow I can tell is it finally work as I expected when buying GTX or if the dark clouds are upon me and nothing can be done...
  3. Before i start bothering You here i've read almost all info bout fps loss in DCS conected with gtx 970. I've download latest nVidia drivers and made custom clean instalation, then start to change nVidia 's settings (read bout set AA,and same others stuff under control of aplication) -nothing changed in DCS fps. Then start to tune GPU with GPU Tweak, I done this till system loss stability. IT was weird for me, cause one of my friend got with this card 66fps stable with all settings maxed in DCS and all of the nVidia and GPU settings stock... Whats also noticed while monitor gpu that card is almost unused, maybe 1\3 of it resources is in use...
  4. No, comp wasn't formated, just unistalled AMD Drivers and after changing GPU's I installed new one from Nvidia.
  5. Hi there, Can anybody explain me the problem I get on my PC? Here's my specs: AMD FX-8320 X8 3,5GHz BOX (stock, no OC) ASUS STRIX GTX970 (Stock, no GPU boosted) ASUS M5A99X EVO R2.0 Fortron ATX HEXA 500W Kingston KHX1866C11D3P1K2/8G SSD KINGSTON SV300S3B7A/120G HDD WD Green WD20EZRX 2TB SATA III 64MB. FreeTrack 2.2 with PS3 Camera Single Monitor 1080p: 1842x1036 And with all these all I can get in DCS 1.5 with max settings (DOF OFF, CIV TRFC OFF) is about 17-20FPS during take off... (DCS->Instant action-> Mig-21-> take off hot sortie)... Then it's gettin better, but it goes only to a ~60FPS (which is fine, but it's not stable) I've noticed, that when I get near to the airfield the FPS goes down rapidly. And now the best part: I lower the DCS performance to lowest possible settings and results were almost the same... Now I run out of ideas. I had better performance on R7 260 which I've changed to a GTX970 yesterday. I spent almost whole day to check what could be wrong, Can anybody help me with these please?
  6. Now got R7 260X and from incoming week will be Asus Strix GeForce GTX 970
