I'm don't have idea how is on KA-50 but on hind DISS is for: -automatic countinously measure and indicate true speed helicopter and angle of wind(angle of derivation ?) during route flight or route autopilot flight. -measure and indicate vector of speed during hover or autohover. ...also count coordinates "where you are" showing on cartographer indicator this works like GPS but showing only limit area of flight. ps.Sorry for my technical english.

Yes and no , addtional fuel in a 1500 Litre Fueltank is use for long range flight like moving from one base to other.In typical operation flight it's don't use . Only external fuel tanks could be use during flight to combat area(you can emerg. rel.) Last thing.....I'm not sure about wersion V but is small diffrend between wesion D and W .Version D can carry extra fuel tank only in troop compartment .Version W only under wings. Carrying troops on hind is perform in special occassion like deploy commandos, emerg.evacuation VIP or other sytuations where hind is only possibility to air transport.

Yes it is....in Nowa Deba range. But now you schould seen hind over Germany (Alps) Groove. Two hinds and two Mi-17 take practise flight in high mountains. My friends there .When they back to Poland i'll put some photos here. No problem .....:)

Yes i forgot tell about hit rotor blades to roof of track as reason of crash. Sun my friend ...did i ever tell or use word "best" i say usefull . I agree with you that hind in version D or W in polnish army aviation is not enought . If we want compare hind on present battelfield we must talking about his new versions unfortunately not used in battle. Other way remember that tiger or apache have own disadvetage.

Kusch ,that's photo is no good example becouse if flying like that all time : you have big chance crash like in your photo - ALWAYS and special security systems is useless Sundowner no matter which one helo you fly.I tell more , during this flight was two pilots ,crew chief and 5 people on board ......two people down -crew chief and one soldier in cargo (hit the head becouse don't have helmet) rest still alive without complicate casualties. About armor .... hind is flying tank but this don't mean that he is bulletproof at all.Example: One bullet hit oil pipe makeing leak oil ...10 min engine working without oil enought time before that crew was land for safety. Thats was one bullet but was unlucky sytuation :from 4 o'clock low. For end : Hit the ground from about 10m ....everyone survive,not so bad. My conclusion - hind meaby not super weapon but still usefull (and my prefered). About crasch ..... depend on sytuation , remember that.

Thanks ...i waiting for DCS too like many others . When i watched vid about BS i saw how work engines,nav. systems etc. and how they realistic made comparing with reality i can't wait much more. About training polnish hinds and hip that photo was made near Bielsko-Biała.You can bee sure next photo from moutain flying will be soon......... next exercise - end of May.

That's right .Maybe hind is not good as many people think and how should be (good) but it's still usefull helicopter .The same way thinking Apache and tiger is not best option of combat helo.Usefull depend on task and version of hind.

Great idea , i'm going to buy a new pc hardware and thought (like many people)what spec will be best or enough good to run DCS.

It's not about that mig's are better or not than F-16 it's about "combat ready" - status of polish pilots (not all) and weapons (deploy to poland in progress).

I'll do this with a pleasure , especially with sundowner.pl .... but now we could only wait for BS relase. I have more videos and one day i upload here , unfortunately not now :( .

Poland , 49th Combat Helicopters Regiment

I'm using self-bulid rudder in FSX (choppers),so if there is quite useful i think in BS is strongly recommended.After watched vid. about BS sim i suppose effective controling and maneuvering in hover and slow speeds without rudder could be very hard or impossible without rudder . And this is kills enjoy of flying(without rudder).

Hi ! I'm new on this forum and this is my first reply. I'm glad that you like my vid. I created all three some time ago . First vid. - hind dance it's -as you can see- about display team Aviation of Land Forces . Second -Reload- was made after execise before my deploy to Iraq . And third -BAT.MAN- short from Manoeuvreble Batalion was created during my duty in Iraq. Yes, there are 6 hind .Now they flying only in 4 ship , in this year they back to poland to major repair . When I was in Iraq we dont work together with apache .I don't tell you exactly why ....but i think we (polnish) had own tasks in our responsibility area and there's no needed .But i must say that hinds are air support during joint mission US ,Polnish & Iraq army.
