  1. Can confirm. I was about to report this.
  2. Out of curiosity, which tanks don't light you up?
  3. Indeed. Yet the problem is manifested when flying the Ka-50. Anyway, I'm glad it's fixed now!
  4. I had a quick run and the latest patch seems to fix the issues with L-140. I will confirm this later, after I run some extra tests.
  5. I've just downloaded and tested the latest beta. I'm attaching two missions which I used to test. In one (test2 - you'll find it in an earlier post), another Ka-50 will attack your Ka-50. Your L-140 will work normally. In the other one (test3) a T-72B will attack your Ka-50 using 9M119 laser beam riding missile. Your L-140 will not work as it should. It seems that the error is related to some (or all) ground vehicles. NB for the T-72 to attack you with missiles you'll need to hover or move slowly. lwr_test_3.miz
  6. Taken from the manual: “Datalink Target – Target” instructs wingmen to stop their current tasks and attack a target or group of targets nearest to the datalinked target location. “Datalink Target – Targets” instructs wingmen to stop their current tasks and attack all targets within a 3km radius of the datalinked target location. “Datalink Target – Target by Type” instructs wingmen to stop their current tasks and attack a target or group of targets of a specified type (SAMs, Vehicles, or Other) nearest to the datalinked target location. “Datalink Target – Targets by Type” instructs wingmen to stop their current tasks and attack all targets of a specified type (SAMs, Vehicles, or Other) within a 3 km radius of the datalinked target location. So the wingman will attack targets that are near the datalink target.
  7. Here's another update. I was playing the Republic mission 2 and I was shot down by a T-72B using a 9M119 laser beam riding missile. I got no warnings in the helicopter. I've attached the log from the mission ending and the track. I can confirm that helicopters lase you and you get a warning, so the updated summary is: 1. L-140 works when another Ka-50 targets you 2. Vehicles lasing your ka-50 don't fire up the L-140 The track is a bit large so here's a link to it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4vPazA1hTj9NzVZZzFTX09nc2M/view?usp=sharing
  8. That's true, and this is why I did the second test. I was under the impresion that units which have laser range finders where using them when targeting helicopters (correct me if I'm wrong). The behaviour is different from 1.2 and that's why I filed this as a bug.
  9. -- UPDATE-- I've conducted another test where I put a Ka-50 vs a player handled Ka-50. The L-140 works fine in this case (the AI paints my Ka-50 when it tries to kill me). So now the question is if in 1.5 vehicles which don't carry laser beam riding weapons no longer use their range finder in order to shoot their cannons/mgs. I think that this was the behaviour in 1.2 i.e. vehicles always used their laser rangefinders. If indeed this is the new behaviour then this is obviously not a bug (but we'd still like to know :smilewink: ) . Otherwise, if this is not correct, there might be a bug in either AI vehicle behaviour or their lasers don't work correctly or the L-140 is indeed bugged and selectively fires off. lwr_test_2.miz
  10. As the title says, L-140 is not working. I first noticed when I was trying the Republic campaign and I had a few AT-5 Konkurs flying my way with no warning. I'm making this thread to report the bug as per 1.5 bug reporting rules. I'm saying this because there is a thread already in the forums - http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=151369 . Find attached the relevant tracks for 1.2 and 1.5 and the mission which I created for testing. lwr_test.miz lwr_test_12.trk lwr_test_15.trk
  11. I can confirm that LWS is not working properly in 1.5. If you want some tracks, just ask and I'll provide. Briguy also in a recent video mentions that. Just check the comment on the video.
