I've started reworking the Stillness in Time campaign. I've played the original a few times and I've also played through this edit of the campaign.
I quite like the premise of the campaign, but some aspects of it I always found strange, so here's my chance to fix them!
Consistent nationalities / equipment
AWACS/GCI in metric, like the plane
More gradual difficulty
A more in-depth story line
Relate missions to one another better
More dire consequences to air-space transgressions
I've only made the first two missions for now, the transit to Kutaisi followed by the usual recon aircraft intercept. I thought I'd start sharing it early to get some feedback.
Some of the changes I've made from the original:
Player camp equipment is Russian
Northeria sports US equipment
Moved campaign back in time to 1970s
Cap Southeria tech to MiG-23, MiG-25
Cap Northeria tech to F-5, F-4
Here's some of what's left to do:
Fix scoring (successful intercept only yielded 30 points instead of 100?)
Implement mainline missions
Implement second line missions (lower score for each stage)
