Same, same....

I been doing some arobatic, and found this....
Clean plane, go from 350 kts, to vertical, set power to ideal, hold plane in 90 degree climb, til 0 kts, I´m holding it on rudders. As I start to descend backwards, the engine flameout...
Is this normal behaveure for the Mirage or a bug ?:helpsmilie:

Woaw !!!
I gues my wishes goes down the ladder now.....
I hope The radar functions and Countermeasures get fixet at a point...
-
Yes and no... All planes in FC3 have the problem, but rest of the modules dosent...
It strikes me od, that its the least demanding planes that got the problem...
-
I am sure, that you dudes getting stutter is having a pc problem, look at my spec. I use Oculus and I can fly downtown Las Vegas with stable 45 fps... I think a ssd is a must before anything else...
-
I use Oculus, and not your flat screen vision. In Oculus this plane is the one working best. I disagree that is overdone, compare to the original plane. But bwcause you are using flat 2d vision and you try to make a human 3d FOV on your screens, you might get some troubles.

Update, I found out, that it is only when flying FC3 planes it occures

@ Fab...
Z77 Chipset?
I dont know, does the Z77 have a fail ?
-
Fab; That's a very very stupid question, but if you'll replay a track of your flight, will you see same FPS drop?
:idiot:
I dont know, havent tryed it, why are you asking ?

Is there a way, to make a wingman have unlimeted fuel ?:helpsmilie:

I will try and look into the synk thing
thanks for the answer

Hey everyone....
I just got a pair of Saitek battel pro rudder pedals...
I get masive fps drops, when ever I use em. If I press on the pedals, I get a drop of 40 FPS !!!
I have tryed diffrent USB Ports, but its all the same....
Anyone else got this problem, or got a selustion to the problem ?

Eject eject eject, only time you have a chance to recover from a flat spin, is in a plane designed to make flat spins, like some arobatic planes.
Not saying it cant happen, but flying jets, is all about making good desisions, in the right time, and here its Eject

Basically, I set up the Mirage 2000 in Neveda and saved the settings as save as Mirage2000.lua file. I just want to know, to save me going through all the setup again, if I can load this saved Mirage2000.lua file into 1.5.2? Or will I have to setup the Mirage2000 again while I'm in DCS 1.5.2? Cheers!
I did it, so I gues you can too

point your nose up, full right rudder, full left stick... hold it there.... do this with plenty of altitude, ground comes up quick
to get out of a flatspin, it's not always full forwards on the stick, but you use opposite rudder to the rotation direction, don't push forwards on the stick too much, overcompensate, and get yourself in an upside down flatspin...
your goal is to point the nose directly down, get enough airspeed that you can safely pull up out of the dive.
if you're in a plane with a propeller, keep throttle at idle when you're trying to get out of the flatspin, the engine torque can keep you in it, depending on direction...
The correct procdure for getting out of a flat spin, is infact pulling back on the stick, vs push nose down on normal spins..
-
Acording to the flight manuel, you are to airbreak with the wing plane until after 90 kts, then gentel settel nose Down, after that applay breaks in small preasures not more than 1 sec it Works for me, no skriding (rember to applay nose weel stearing)
-
Thats not a flat spin....

I think that a lot for pilots in here, is dooing vers god, when we talk about, the tekstbook info for landings. You all get the right lineup, correct speed, god AoA ect....
Where you fail is The landing it self.... I Will try to explain.
Most of The sim pilots I have spoken with about landings, get The Numbers right. But they try to "land" the plane, by forceing it Down on the runway...
Whwn you are correct setup, Got all The Numbers right, you need to fly The plane Down The runway. Dont set it down, fly it as close to The Ground as you Can. When The plane bleeds of The speed, it Will settel Down gentely by it self.
I have sene a lot of sim and IRL pilots almost, fly The plane into The ground while landing.
I am a glider pilote IRL, and when I land, I Can hear The grass brusning underneath of The fuselag, as i keep flying down The runway, until The plane settels by it self....

What a nice attitude. So in your opinion the real Mirage doesn't shake when experiencing buffeting? Besides, if you don't like stick shake, you can always turn it off. (It's right there in the force feedback options)
*edit*
Nevermind I just read your signature that you have a X52. How does that in any way entitle you to make demands on any force feedback settings or features??
Dont realy know what you mean by "nice attitude" it was ment to be an advice to you. But never mind that....
I as every one else is entiled to have an oppinion about what DCS should be and not be, no matter what gear I have. My mind set is toward sim and reality. As I see it, if stick shaker is implented, and its not in The real plane, other pilots have an advantace over me in dogfights, thats not sup to be there. On The other hand, if The Mirrage indeed have stick Shake, it should be implented and Then its my disanvanted on my Owen behalf.
I dont understand you get aggressive towards me, just because I have an oppinion, My reply was in no Way ment to be personale

Please, please no vibration effects for gun firing. Or if they are there make them light enough not to disrupt your aim. Not even the WWII birds 'feature' this, it is very 'gamey' and not realistic at all. As for feedback effects on buffeting that would be very welcome and quite realistic as we have no other way to sense pre-stall behavior.
You could use your AoA meter + TAS to know if your close to stall. I dont think, that The Mirrage Got "Stick shaker" to warn pilot about prestall.
Besidde I would like to Think of this as a sim, and not a game, with all kind of features not pressent irl

One thing I discovred aften starting to ude Oculus is, that The zoom option, is The greatest cheat of Them all.....
With Zoom you Can zoom in like you have monucolos attached to your forhead

All ways bring a roll of ducktape:thumbup:

It's not screw driver of course. It's pick in case off the life raft inflate by accident in the cockpit.
The pilot is seated on it, folded in ejection seat.
Now, why would any one inflate a life raft in The cockpit?
Nope its for adjusting Qhn on The backside of The instrumentpanel:music_whistling:
