Vertical stabs and wings shake/vibrations
Ala12Rv-watermanpc replied to Ala12Rv-watermanpc's topic in Wish List
I would like to up this post again to ask for this feature, at least for the Hornet, since it is a plane that partiularly exhibits these vibrations due to the extreme low speed maneuverability. Here is a recent video showing all this: I think the shaking, buffeting and control surfaces vibrations should be a standard now, at least to the level of the F4 phantom. Thanks! -
AB FX and wing flex (flying) WiP yet?
Ala12Rv-watermanpc replied to Ala12Rv-watermanpc's topic in DCS: F-14A & B
Yes, there is clearly not enough bending/flex in the Tomcat (and all other modules) since the initial point of the flex is way too far in the outer side of the wing. The flex should start in the infinitesimal start of the wing, inmediately after the insertion with the fuselage, but thats not the case in any module as far as I can tell. Of course, in that infinitesimal slide, the flex is zero (otherwise the wing would be broken) but the point is, the flex starts way too far on the wing, leading to a weak/insuficient deformation in ALL modules. I guess this is done this way to avoid modeling pylons movement but I would love to see improvements in this regard in DCS. -
It would be great to be able to activate the selfie mode in the replay, otherwise, it doesnt make much sense to me, sice it is not possible to fly the plane while in the selfie camera. Thanks!

Yep, it worked by creating a new loadout!, thanks a ton!!

It is supposed to be solved, but I can't still arm them. Anyone else?

Ok, thats better than nothing thanks for the reply.

I think we have been more than patient. We deserve, at least, a little bit of insight about the state of all this.

+1 Not a single word about weather/clouds in years. Nothing about the old "humidity parameter" for wings vapour, or the reduced visibility (volumetric fog) that was itroduced even with screenshots. Would love to know "anything" about all this.

I would like to add that it seems like it wont work in the replay mode, at least as far as I can tell, which doesnt makes sense to me. I would love to use it in the replay mode. thanks!

+1, I can't figure out how this camera works. When i enable it, I cant freely move on the cockpit any more than a few inches forward (cant put the camera over the dash) and I cant turn back enough to see the pilot completely independently of the pilot movement. Quite odd.

Thanks for your reply!! Well, I understand what you said, but the stutter happens also in more demending situations. Anyway, the DCS is set as "high performance" in both, nvcp and windows, and clocks in the gpu are stable so the load should not be an issue. Moreover, I have quite extreme settings, including DLAA. Tried with different kinds of AA just in case DLSS had some issues but nope!...is DCS related. Other games run perfect. I bet all this is due to the lack of proper full screen mode. Im using a 144hz monitor (set to 120hz) and Win 10 btw, already included this info in the main thread. Changing the refresh rate in the monitor did nothing to solve this, tried using 60Hz mode too. I would love to get back the Alt+Enter trick!
