  1. If that's the case, shame on them, may they rot/burn/die in hell.
  2. Yeah, waisting money sure isn't fun ! :D
  3. HAWX looks like a piece of crap but did you guys hear about this : http://www.fighterops.com/ ?
  4. I hope you guys aim good, don't miss ;).
  5. And if ED ever releases a package deal of all aircrafts, they should call it: DCS: NO SLEEP
  6. A great manual I own is "Principles of Helicopter Flight" by W. J. Wagtendonk. It's amazingly easy to understand and there are loads of exercises. Another fun book is "Fatal Traps for Helicopter Pilots" by Greg White. Got both on Amazon.ca
  7. Well, it appears not !!;)
  8. Hey, pictures of DCS I've never seen !!! We can see the mission editor (scroll down): http://www.lockontr.com/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1&limit=8&limitstart=56
  9. ...I joined the forum 8 months ago, and have since read at least twice every phrase written on it.:D But I appreciate you taking good care of members. BTW, i'd bet 100 $ that this image is a render. Is it ?
  10. Of course, take all the time needed, I just wanted to know. Thanks.
  11. If this video is addressed to active pilots, shouldn't there be a lot less explanations of basic theory ? Or do they want their audience to fall asleep ?
  12. I posted this question in the Q&A thread a long time ago, but it wasn't answered :(. Anyways, can someone of authority tell us if there will be a producers note, or other pre-release video, about the damage model ? I kind of can't wait to see the Ka-50 being demolished in various ways. Don't worry, I can't wait to fly normally, too. I apologize if this offends people a bit but I have found something that could compensate for my destructive taste: Thank you.
  13. Does anybody of authority know if there will be a producers note about the damage model ? I'm kinda dying a little bit every day until i can see the damage model in action. Please be kind and end my suffering.
  14. Although a bit old, this one is my favourite
  15. I didn't mean to be such an a-hole. I should have used an other word. Please forgive me.
  16. I don't quite understand your questioning. The gentleman said that DCS:BS will be released in 2008, if it gets released in 2009, he will become a... well, for lack of a nicer word, a liar. Hence the word: "untrue". What I meant is that I'm having difficulties picturing Bill Gates sipping a Starbucks with Steve Jobs saying "Windows 7 will definitely be published next week" and then we'd wait 'till 2010.
  17. Wouldn't that be very "un-corporate" of him ? Assuring the press of something untrue ?
  18. Did I hear that correctly ? "...it will definitely be published in 2008..." I'll tell you something, if it gets released in 2009, I'll audition for Canadian Idol. Mark my words.
  19. Hmm... 30 clients maximum.

  21. Damn, that's the third time this month ! :D
  22. Wow, great video. I was expecting to see the damage model in action, though. I've always been fascinated by realistic destruction in computer games. Is that something we could see in the (near) future ? Pretty please ?
  23. Anybody got a time machine ?
  24. I have another question: in DCS, does the air displaced by an aircraft affects the the behavior of an other (nearby) aircraft ? For example, can two helicopters hover closely one on top of another as if they were alone ?
