I would absolutely hate to be the catapult crew. There right next to the intakes on that thing. I rather change jobs
Definitely a loud sumbitch.

Thanks for linking those, Viper. I don't care what anyone says, I think that airplane looks badass... utilitarian but with nice lines. Cannot wait to see more as it steps into the limelight!
Here's the launch:

Oh my god that HGS... I want this! I've never really cared much for payware civilian aircraft addons for FSX, but if I could afford a rig that would do this justice, I would buy this without hesitation. I cannot get over the collimation and overall look of that HGS glass...

Well first of all my initial impression is very good. The plane basic shape is a bit warp and different than the real but as aaron886 say it wasn't an easy shape.
I found some small mesh error. Also the airbrake hydraulics fix element is moving.. See attached pics
Oh I meant a "hard wing" which is a term that means the wing is (relatively) inflexible. However that's not to say the MiG-29's wing would be easy to model. :)
-
I get the feeling the fulcrum has a pretty "hard" wing so it should flex too much... I know in the Hornet though, the wing sits at about -4 on the ground but nearly level in the air. (Aeroelastic wing.)

FC2 drawing errors have been mentioned plenty of times dude, can't be helped. Hazard a thread search before reporting a bug!
-
Unfortunately it's deaply harcoded. The engine increase/decrease time doesn't changeable. (yet) :-D
Anything is possible with the right knowledge and lots of time. :smartass:

Nice lookin screenshot. (But probably no need for a whole new thread!)

A fantastic example of a bureaucracy growing like a weed and being cut back by the natural cycle of checks.
-
It's got nothing to do with the "FC2 engine." Completely ground up. Just so happens that method of drawing water (and probably the method for creating those bump textures) is well documented and apparently popular.

Why are servers passworded? One pseudo-word... "noobs."
Trick is to play with people you know. If you don't know anyone, now you've got a place to start. Make friends or join a squad! :)

Friggin great, Beczl! Fantastic work.

How about "why don't my radio menus come up?" :(
-
You and I know that's a blatant lie.
Tread carefully 'Ol chap.......Tread carefully ;)
Viper this is pretty... ridiculous. It's quite an assumption to imply that he should know every feature of this forum, and assume that he should know ED forum moderators well enough to think they wouldn't change his rep.
He's got a right to his opinion, just like any ED testers have a right to send him negative rep... it's someone's opinion.

Is this it you want to see yo bloody old dirty scum-bags ?! Aye!
Hahahaha perfect. That's the one right there...
-
I cannot...

New, but add a beer mug in the other hand.
+1. No pirate pilot is complete without a beverage. :D

Completely agreed, we should think more about modding community. It is easy to say, but it is not that easy to do. I hope things will change in future.
Very nice to see this response. :) We do understand it's not easy to help us with a full plate and a small dev team, but I have hope that future work will benefit modders as a core part of the community.

Bump! DarkWanderer, are you around?
-
And is against the forum rules, too.
They're more like.... guidelines, anyway.

I'm also interested in buying the Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals, but I have a very simple question:
I know you need the pedals to steer the plane on the ground (taxiway and runway) or during the landing when you have cross wind and you also brake the plane after the landing. But do you need the pedals also during the flight?
Depends on the simulator... if you're talking about Lock On... not really, unless you're doing aerobatics. (Limited use even then.) If you mean A-10C, then you definitely need them and should learn how to keep the aircraft coordinated!

For the love of all that is holy, can we get rid of these "have made screenshot" messages, ED? No sense in having them whatsoever...

Very nice, Tom!
