Mr_sukebe's post in Some way to save controllers settings and restore when Windows be reinstalled. Today we need to import plane by plane, controller by controller was marked as the answer
Pasting the old config files and renaming them with the new controller IDs does work, though it has to be by aircraft aswell. So if you have 30 aircraft and 12 controllers, that's 360 file renames to do.

Mr_sukebe's post in Headphones and VR headset, split audio. was marked as the answer
Go into the audio settings within DCS. There's a bunch of drop down options on what to output to. This overrides what's set by windows, so it needs to be done here too.

Mr_sukebe's post in What prescription lenses are people using? Near or Far? was marked as the answer
Far.
With my first set, I made the mistake of assuming that as they'll be used next to a lens, that they should be suitable for close in work. Nope. They need to reflect the kind of distances that you'd use in reality (i.e. similar to what you might use for driving).

Mr_sukebe's post in Mirage F1EE Alignment was marked as the answer
No, mine kept stalling fairly early into alignment, resulting in it not correctly aligning and setting off the associated red warning light.
I tried it again a little while ago on Sinai in both single player and multiplayer. Worked fine. So I’ve no idea if there was just something weird going on, or whether the recent patch included a fix.
Either way, seemingly all good now, which was great, as I’m really enjoying the F1. I think it’s a great combination of complex and antiquated. Sure, it’s not ever going to be as effective as an F16, but I find it so immersive to fly and incredibly characterful.
An amazing job for a new 3rd party creator.
