I seem to lose the cannon and Vikhr vibrations when the G-effects are enabled, once the g-effects are unchecked I get the weapon vibrations back. I'll experiment further.

Unlimited ammo not used, all other vibrations are felt except firing the weapons.

When flying the KA-50 III in the beta there are little to no vibrations when firing the cannon or Vikhrs. I have both set to maximum in SSA. Anyone else have the same or a workaround?

Hi, I just got SSA and SSM for my Buttkicker. I thought I had a problem with one of the programs as I was getting no vibrations. I tried MSFS and all was good. Back into DCS and still no joy, I was trying to get vibrations whilst using BS3, I loaded up a mission with BS2 and all is working well re vibrations. Is there any chance of getting BS3 to work with SSA? Thanks.

Just got a Buttkicker, just getting back to DCS. Have downloaded the Simshaker for aviators software, am trying to purchase the Simshaker sound module but I'm being asked for an activation string. I'm at a loss as to what this is, can anybody throw some light on this for me?

Mean't to update this a few days ago, I got my new stick a week or so ago, the new stick has none of the 'free' movement around the centre that was there with the old stick. I've bothing but praise for good old Amazons returns policy. Sorry to hear Pixmania is messing you around, they are just shooting themselves in the foot at the end of the day.

I have the same amount of slack on the x axis and a little bit more on the y, i'll make a video on Sunday, i'm off for the weekend. I explained to them that was 4mm of travel from the back to the front that had no resistance and 3mm left to right with the same, I told them that the movement still registered in game. I asked him if this was normal for such a high end joystick. He said it wasn't normal and told me to send it back to Amazon for a replacement, I told him I would send him back the stick on it's own if he wanted because the throttle was ok, but he stuck with the full replacement advice. I measured the travel with a ruler against a straight edge. Hope this helps :)

OK, i've just been chatting to TM customer support, they have told me the slack is not normal and I should send it back to the retailer (Amazon) where I bought it from. I just phoned Amazon, they are posting me out a new Hog using first class post. Result.

@ LostOblivion, mine has exactly the same slack that yours does, the movement still registers ingame so it's not a dead spot. Keep us posted how you get on, i'm considering phoning TM customer services for advice.

The tension on the CH Fighter Stick is slightly weaker than the X52 Pro, though the CH stick is waaay more precise. The trim wheels on the CH stick probably go half way towards justifying it's purchase (no ingame mapping required, it's all done outside the game). Really good with IL2.

*Update* Mine hadn't arrived my 30th Jan so I contacted Amazon, the sent another one out first class as the first had apparantley gone "missing", guess what?, they BOTH arrived today :doh: :) I've just spent half an hour slowly unpacking this, all I can say is wow. It's a heavy sucker and oozing class. I might see if Amazon will let me have the other for the same price and sell it on.

I ordered one yesterday at £279.99 (which I thought was a pretty good price), I have ordered another one this afternoon at the new price, I have contacted Amazon about the difference in price, they have told me to refuse the parcel at the original price when it arrives, they will refund me the money. This is a real bargain atm, snap then up, they're bound to go fast at this money.

I was just going to post this exact same thread, I also use a MSFFB2 stick and have it paired with a X52 pro throttle, the throttle is getting on for 3 years old now, the slider and rotaries are spiking and it's time for a change (of throttle at least). I fly BS and FSX mainly atm, but i'm going to buy DCS A-10 and SoW. I know when SoW comes out that it will more than likely become my main sim and there lies the problem for me, i'm so used to using the rotaries on my X-52 for trimming, I really don't know how that's going to transfer to the hog. Has anyone tried the hog with IL2? are you using the hat switch for trimming? How does that feel? The hog would be my first choice stick only for the fact it's lacking these rotarys. I love the look of the X-65F throttle and stick, I don't think i'll like the force sensing side of things though. I have no retailers anywhere near me where I can try these sticks out, I have to go on opinions and reviews to make my mind up. I have had my cursor hovering over the 'place your order' tab in Amazon for the last week, I just can't decide. If the Hog had a rotary ot two I would buy it in a heartbeat, if the X-65F wasn't force sensing i'd buy it in a heartbeat. Is there anyone else with this dilemma? I know it's doing my head in. Have I any other alternatives?

I just purchased FC2 last night, i'm trying to run the set up, but i'm getting 'Lock on 1.1 not found! installation interrupted!', I have Lock On Gold installed and patched. Any ideas?, i've looked through the forum and can't find anyhing relating to this.

Problem solved, thankfully. I followed the link on installing with Win7. The part where it says install everything as administrator, I was doing that but using the AutoRun.exe and clicking install instead of using the setup.exe. When I used the setup.exe it installed without a hitch and no runtime errors.

After a long break from Lock On i'm trying to reinstall, I have also followed all the install instructions to the letter and i'm getting the same error. I'm using Lock On Gold btw. I can hear the game running but I don't have a picture. I installed all the components as administrator, including the patch, updated StarForce. Does anyone have any ideas?
